I like the concept armor, save for the boob windows. But apparently, they're just that, concepts. Chris already said that Ash will have real armor, so it's kinda a moot point now.

then why are people still ****ing?

Three reasons:

Miranda

Samara

Jack

Yes, we're told that Ash will have armor.  But we haven't seen her in armor, just a silly looking skirt-jacket.  Or it's equally silly white and pink AAP version.  We've even seen shots of her her toting a weapon in said skirt-jacket even when everyone else around her is fully armed and armored.

So far the armor is just words.

On top of which, many feel it doesn't suit her character. It's like the people designing her look in ME3 didn't even know who she was and hadn't even seen Ashley in the original game, and basically went, "main female squaddie, huh? Let's just make her Miranda II: The ****tening"

Bioware has every right to design the game they want to make . Oh but as we have seen they bow down to cry babies

So... having Ashley wear combat armor + a helmet that are similar to what FemShep wears in the field is "bowing down to cry babies" now?

The fact that they would even consider an outfit with a "boob window" at all, even in concept drawings, makes me just doubt and question BioWare's direction--

I stopped reading there. LOOK AT MY QUOTE.

This is my problem with it. It is not something that Ashley would wear... especially if she is trying to look professional for meetings with the council, admirals, etc. I still say the concept art on the far right would have been a far better choice.

@NzesiNyoka Those are all clothing concepts. Ashley has full armor and helmet similar to Shepard's, which I don't think have been shown yet.

This is good news. :)

Aw... I'm actually digging the concepts. I'm also digging the fact that her hair is down. I hopw they keep all that.

Oh and please tell me what you would call all of this . thats right a bunch whining cry babies who can not handle a developer designing a outfit for a character they created . I am sorry if you can not handle the truth then thats your problem .  once again Bioware has no guts to do anything to releated to ME 1 and VS characters but thats ok and people wonder  why some hate the alliance princess and the VS so much

Exactly what are you on about here?  We knew that people from ME (VS and Liara) were going to make it to ME3.  If people don't like them for that reason then they're being absolutely silly.

Anyway, should Bioware kowtow to the likes of you, the shallow, pretentious lot who didn't give one rat's behind about Ashley prior to her redesign?  Now, you look at her and say "she's hot...now" and then think to clack your fingers clamouring for Bioware not to change this so-called "sex appeal" that you're claiming we can't handle?

We see right through you mate.  Give it a rest.

The truth is, that you're the whining crybaby here. You're the one whining that you're saddled with working with the VS again, despite the fact that it is BioWare's story, and not yours. You're the one complaining that the developers are (supposedly; still need to see a screenshot before I'm convinced) owning up to the mistakes they made in ME2, and are finally designing a character's appearance to obey the rules that they built for their own fictional universe, rather than catering to mindless, knuckle-dragging neanderthals who believe females only exist to be eye candy.

Besides, in all likelihood you'll have the option to have her prance about in her jacket-thing in combat anyway (despite how ridiculous of a notion that sounds, oh look Miranda, Samara and Jack). Hell, you'll even have the option to not take her on missions with you, or even have her dead upon import. So why are you still on about this?
