Though my eyes still burn, I actually appreciate your image. It shows perfectly the rediculousness of all the faparmor BW has been putting out.Nyoka wrote...

You're female, ... right?
Retarded designs for women get dozens of pages about how armor is not important and they in fact should show more skin due to some bullsh¡t.

I don't see any mini-skirts or "boob windows" there.
Oh, and by the way. Just because someone's opposing a sexy outfit doesn't mean that they're insecure when it comes to sex appeal.
It usually means that they're annoyed by it.
Those are female soldiers! That's what Ash should be. Not this... I don't know what to call her in ME3.

I support Bioware and its design choice for her in 3 and Ash fans need to just deal with it

I prefer the first outfit for Ashley's versus the second or third version. The boob window is just gratuitous fluff. If the outfit didn't had that, it would still be a great outfit.
The part that I do not agree with, along with the boob window, is the loose hair and makeup. It's just too much. I liked Ashley in ME and ME2.
I think people overreacted to the long hairstyle.
Besides looking better with her hair down, Ashley's bun isn't her hairstyle. That is just how she wears her hair when she is on duty, just like women in today's military. Since she's returning as a Spectre in ME3, Alliance uniform regulations would be a bit of a non-issue. So long as hair hair isn't covering her eyes I don't have a problem with it.
Bioware should give all combat armors helmets that can be toggled off/on just like in ME1. When Ashley is in combat, just toggle her helmet on. Voila, hair is assumed to be tied up underneath & a non issue.

Oh yeah many on here have a issue with sex appeal in games but hey I dare you to walk up to these women and tell them they can't have any sex appeal because they are Soliders

I *really* don't think anyone here gives a ****** about her hair.
A few months back when we got the first glimpse of Ashley in ME3 there were quite a few people who complained about her not returning with her hair in a bun.
For the most part the fan reaction to the new hairstyle was either love it or hate it.

that new design with her hair tied back! makes her look more likely ashley we know! its different but its still ashley!
Yeah, if that is a Spectre logo and not a "boob window", I'd be totally fine with that as her outfit. hair up or hair down. Infinitely better than the blue outfit it looks ike we'll be stuck with.

@Han Shot: Honestly, the hair seems rather minor to me, especially since it might go up in battle. Even the armour isn't that much of an issue, it's just irritating because of how pointless it is. I'll swallow it, but only if BW can give me a very, very good reason why Ash does a 180 in a couple of months. A reason that doesn't include "fan service for horny teenagers."

I have yet to see anyone flat out say that a soldier can't be sexy AND practical at the same time.
Then again, you wouldn't have an "argument" in that case.

and the problem with the Hair, when you are on a mission she should have her hair tied back, on the normandy, however, not muche of a problem, but I would like it if she had her bun back and the hair down only in some privat moments (romanced)

She looks ridiculous in ME3. That outfit is an affront to her character. It would make a great alternate outfit however since it is probably a reference to her "Tinfoil miniskirt and thigh-high boots" comment on the Citadel. However as a default outfit it is just... ugh. She looks very out of place standing next to all other Alliance personnel.
I agree. The images shown at the beginning of this thread might be something that Ashley would wear when she is on the Normandy and NOT in combat, but that's it. Ashley is a SOLDIER. She wears a full suit of armor in combat because she is a SOLDIER.
Sure, I'd like to see Ashley wear something more feminine during non-combat parts of the game since I am a heterosexual man who appreciates "eye candy" in games. Heck, I'd kind of like it if Bioware included an "easter egg" in ME3 where you visit Ashley in her quarters and she wears a tinfoil miniskirt and thigh-high boots.
If Bioware wants to change Ashley's combat outfit, how about giving her a suit of armor that isn't BRIGHT PINK AND WHITE. Every time I play the original Mass Effect and see her I think she looks like a bullseye on the battlefield.

Whats wrong with Pink-Withe? Your Enemy will see you, and what he can see, he will soon learn to fear...
But like I said befor, a Armor like Female-Shep wouldn't be bad. But I hope they finde something else for her casual outfit, since I postet it before, I would vote for this:

Looks better then this blue suit I think.

I have outright said many times stylish and practical are not mutually exclusive.
Exactly.
See the German Army in WW2. The N@zis were evil pricks but they did have the best uniforms. Hell, they were designed by Hugo Boss.
