At the Landsmeet, I duelled and killed Loghain myself and chose Anora as queen. This should logically result in Alistair staying with both the party and the Grey Wardens - but it doesn't. Alistair vanishes and the game replaces him with Invisble Dead Loghain. As in, Loghain speaks all his dialogues and the rest of the characters behave as if he's alive and a Grey Warden, but he's invisible and not a selectable party member. This seems to be a bug resulting from hardening Alistair and not making him king.
Is the only way to fix this to reload and make Alistair king or spare Loghain? I don't want to do either of those things! Part of the point of doing this run was to have Alistair stay in the Wardens. Is there a way to unharden him using the console or save editor? (Setting him to a harded state is easy enough, but there's no obvious way to do the opposite.)
