Hi all,
I laid down a few doors in my city and resized them to fit the doorway. However, they reverted to their original size in game. Is there an easy way to make a door into a placeable or to get the existing doors to behave themselves (they also changed color from the colors I chose).
There are placeable doors but they do not suit my purposes (they don't stretch nicely).
I have gmax so I can do a little modelling but nothing too major.

Woohoo! That helped me on my most used door which is great!
But I also have a Nytir Oriental BCK door to fix. I hope is it a simple 2da thing...

Luckily, it was a 2da fix. I just copied the same line and changed the model name to my placeable door model (which I made by cloning the original door model).

I've had no problems with resizing usable doors. Occasionally the door will fail to scale along with the building it's attached to, but manually resizing the door itself and re-snapping it to the hookpoint usually does the trick.

Glad you have found a solution.
In generaly you can resize as a door as long it is usable. Once you resize a door and check it as static it will reutn to its default size.
So from my experiance you can resize useable doors but not static doors, which can be a pain.
