I bought Mass Effect 2 two days ago and i have been having problems with the game data (not the save data) corrupting. What is up with this?

I had the same problem happen last night. Got game on black friday sale. Just now getting around to it and 10 hours and 40+ mins into the game says "game data corruption." Was about a 4 hour sitting on the Horizon mission. Happens after the fire fight where the leader says he'll control the collectors. Then morphs em. I've completely deleted the game data and reinstalled. It saves the saved files and still buggy. It's all over the internet thought. It's a big problem. I just hope its fixed before ME3. Scared it will just be a problem pushed to the side from that point on. Horizon is common for this apparently. I dont wanna play 11 more hours to find out it's gonna do it again.
