Hello!

Are there any pros and cons regarding when you play through the DLCs (Legacy and MotA)?
I'm clearing up quests in the end of Act I at the moment, any reasons why I should or should not play through the DLCs as well before I set out for the Deep Roads Expedition?

While Legacy can be played just about any time, MotA makes most sense in act 3 or post-game.

IMO, Legacy works best either in Act 1 or 3 (depending on what happens to your sibling). I like the potential closure it provides with a GW-sibling in Act 3, particularly Carver, since it allows a kind of reconciliation before his return in the end-game. MotA is best played at the start of Act 3, IMO, as if it took place in the Act 2-3 interval - though if you take Isabela along it might be odd, seeing as she's meant to have been avoiding you during this period.

If you start Legacy while living in Gamlen's home, you can enter it a second time in the mansion - although all that happens is an additional new dialog between Hawke and your sibling)

I hold off on running both of them until "The Last Straw" is the only quest left, that way Hawke and his friends are really buffed.

Also, if you want the loot to have the best stats possible, you need to be level 24 when you start Legacy. Not sure about MotA.

At least the same level if you want to live...otherwise, bring around 200 Mythal's potions with you.
