Dunno. They won't pick Tali - but Liara is different. Guess she and Ashley will compete in that ME-movie and I believe Shepard will first go for Ashley - but has to leave her on Virmire (or in a similar situation) so in the end he'll find love with Liara.

At least that's what I can see - and it makes sense.
Not my favorite scenario - it's the most plausible one.

Edit: Acording to the wiki it seems he may have been born in Singapore (unless he wasn't born after the accident) but he's from a family of Spacers so it's pretty much left to the player to decide where his family are from.

Well we've still got Girl fight, she didn't die in that movie, and it was probably her best role, it was also her first role. A pretty good movie.

With the last name of Alenko, I assumed he had Russian Ancestry.

se was Vin Diesel's lover, Letty, in fast and furious movies (where she eventualy died :/)  I like her acting abilities in general, and I'll be honest, I have a bit of self interest when it comes to Virmire survivor (then again, I'd rather neither of them died there, but you know...) oh yeah, Girlfight has a romantic subplot.

but as someone above mentioned - most likely Liara is going to be a principle love interest, being sexy blue alien scientist and all.  after all - it IS hollywood.

Yeah ... Hollywood - and Liara got plot armor till ME3 while Ashley can die on Virmire. Or she survives, will get abducted in ME2 (Horizon), get rescued by Shepard together with the rest of his crew, then speaks her mind on board and finally get killed while doing that suicide mission.

Guess so. Ashley seems to have a great tendency to get killed if played by Michelle ... but she has to play her as her look-alike ... AAAARGH

I never saw Star Trek with the exception of the remake with Zachary Quinto. Kirk made out with the green woman, but spent the rest of the movie pouting because he couldn't have Zoe Saldana. I see it playing out similarly in an ME movie.
