So I just bought a new slim today, and used a usb to transfer all my HD content from my old xbox to my new slim. Only thing is, for whatever reason my ME2 saves(2 full playthroughs waiting for ME3) are corrupted now. I've checked all my other saves on my system, and they are all fine. Just these 2 random ME2 saves that got corrputed. Am I just screwed? Is there any way to fix them? I'd honestly rather not play though it again twice before ME3 comes out...Thanks!!

At first glance at your title thread name I would have thought that you hadn't transferred your content licenses and recovered your Gamertag (and if you've changed 360s they are still things you should do anyway to avoid certain issues further down the line); but since some saves are fine by your own admission my own thoughts concur with your suspicion that the saves may be corrupt.

I had read somewhere on these boards that sometimes the autosave file can corrupt (actually, have you tried to reload a different save from the 'corrupted' characters? Assuming it's careers and not the individual save within a career....), and it is possible to remove a corrupted save (though I recall it requires a certain programme, probably Modio or something I'm not sure, and the process has to be carried out on the PC). Unfortunately the thread I have in mind isn't one I've saved.

I suggest for the meantime to perform the 'mandatory' actions to eliminate those possibilities and perhaps search the forums a little until someone can provide you with a more definitive suggestion.

Awesome thanks, I'll have to do some research on if theres a way to uncorrupt them. The thing that sucks is its not just 2 main saves for each playthrough, its all the ME2 saves that were on that HD. No clue if something happened during the transfer or what, but no other game was effected, just ME2.

It only occurs to me now, but I have a further question so perhaps we can eliminate that possibility.

Did you copy the saves or move them? ME2 saves have a copyright system in place that prevents copying; I'm not sure what would happen if one does. If copied then it's conceiveable that that may be why save files are corrupted.
