Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC:

Lair of the Shadow Broker part 1 - Illium
Lair of the Shadow Broker part 2 - Shadow Boker Ship Exterior
Lair of the Shadow Broker part 3 - Defending the Hatch
Lair of the Shadow Broker part 4 - Ship Interior and Shadow Broker fight

I tried to be as aggressive and in-your-face as possible with the Shadow Broker, but the Adept just does not have the tools for close quarters combat. After repeated deaths I eventually just hung a lot back more than I wanted to.

I evolved Shockwave simply to get guys out of cover. It's the only power they can't hide from.

I love the way shockwave goes through cover, hate how unpredictable the path enemies fly once hit, as in Miranda's video you almost died from enemies behind you after a wave. I wish it was more like tech armor explosion honestly maybe more focused in a arc in front of you. I also like how it kills drones allowing you to not to really have to worry about engineers.

Nice videos man, doing a good job.

Good videos. Shockwave is just so underwhelming to me. However glad to see you're getting use out of it and having fun with it.

I wish it was more like tech armor explosion

word.

I agree, Shockwave should be more focused in an arc in front of you, or at least guarantee to knock enemies away from you.

Good stuff.

My Overlord videos might be end up being too boring compared to stuff like this, well if people don't like just watching Rambo in the future.

I'm trying to catch up on this thread and I have to say that what I've seen so far is awesome. the last video I watched was Horizon and the use of Shockwave is brilliant.
Thanks for the "work" so far :D

Thank you. If you prefer, skip to Thane's recruitment mission, since that is where Shockwave really starts to come into its own: level 3 shockwave (2.50m radius) + max passive + Biotic Cooldown upgrade.

Derelict Reaper part 1
Derelict Reaper part 2

I took Mordin (Incineration Blast) and Jack (Shockwave). Samara (Area Reave) would hace been better, but I purposely failed her loyalty mission so her bonus power did not unlock. Same with Zaeed's Inferno ammo, even if it is not all that great.

Miranda or Thane (Warp) may have been okay but Warp targets only one enemy at a time. Oh well.

Also, I use Shockwave way more often than I should, especially since Pull Field would have been better on almost the entire mission, but this is a Shockwave Adept.

I like what I see on the videos so far, the shockwave is very effective on the long straightaways in the Derelict Reaper. Yeah, you do use it a tad bit too much, and pull would have been better, but as you say it is a Shockwave Adept.

After watching your videos, I wish you didn't have to give up Area/Heavy Throw to get Shockwave at a decent level. It does have it's uses, but generally speaking not enough to lose another power.

Fun Videos, keep up the good work and have fun.

I agree. Shockwave does have its uses, but generally Throw or another power is better in most situations.

Also, just finished uploaing Legion's Loyalty Mission.

I'm not an adept expert, but why do you need heavy or area throw anyway? I always figured area pull or singularity would be more important since both ragdoll and or can be used for warp bombs. It's nice to keep throw since the cooldown is so fast and it can be used with other things, but I don't suppose I consider losing the fully evolved form much of a loss.

That said, I didn't use shockwave all that much on my adept. But since I didn't use throw all that much either I don't know how useful my two cents are. :)

If you only pull a single enemy, heavy throw will finish him off. This might not sound good because warp does the same thing, however - the cooldown of throw is three seconds and even less with upgrades. You can basically kill faster and move on faster without waiting for a cooldown, all while getting a hilarious effect.

Mi-Chan explained it perfectly. For myself, I dislike using my own Warp as I would much rather use Pull and Throw. Warp bombs are good if enemies are clustered together or if you are cramped quarters. Having a squadmate warp-bomb is prefereable since they can bomb quicker, usually stunning enough enemies allowing you to finish stripping their protections and using Pull again.

Throw can also knock enemies off the map, especially in outdoor environments. Pull + Throw is my favorite biotic combo, as you can really send enemies flying off the map.

Also, Suicide Mission is posted:
Suicide Mission part 1
Suicide Mission part 2

Arrival is next. I have some assignments left, but I doubt I will post them. I may not even play them until just before ME3 comes out.

I can understand pull plus heavy throw to finish off a baddie I guess. I don't follow the throwing off the map part as much; can't you do that with lesser versions of throw as well? Granted, that would be position dependent... or homerun into the lower decks instead of out of the park.

At any rate, I guess I didn't try pull/throw with high enough versions of throw... but a lot of the time if I used pull on someone I might not even necessarily do anything to them, and just let them float around while we targeted other guys. This would not of course apply to husks since they die when ragdolled... so pull and they are dead.

Finished Arrival. The first half went smoothly. I struggled to complete the second half. But I got it done.

Arrival part 1 - Rescuing Doctor Kenson
Arrival part 2 - Battle for Object Rho

The Object Rho video is kind of bland. I just hide behind a pillar the whole time.

Arrival part 3 - Activating the Project
Arrival part 4 - Stabilizing the Reactor Core and Escaping the Asteroid

When completing Miranda's loyalty mission, I died quite a few times. However, in between all the times I failed hard, a lot of good stuff happened that failed to make it into the final video. So instead of just compiling all the fails together, I also included some the good stuff that never happened during my successful attempt.

Miranda's Loyalty Mission - Feats and Failures

I have one more for Arrival coming, it will just a long time to edit first.

Arrival - Feats and Failures

Mostly failures this time, unfortunately. I had to cut a lot of stuff out to keep it relatively short, but it is still rather long. I could have probably edited some more stuff out, but I had already spent about 4 hours editing it down. My display driver crashed about 3-4 times during the process.

This is probably my last Shockwave Adept video. I do not really feel like editing 6-7 hours worth of video footage into a tribute compilation.

This was a neat build. Made me want to try out shockwave more if I do Adept or Vanguard again.
