How should the Reapers be beaten without the fans being pissed off?

The only thing the reapers could possibly want is the ability to have actual sex.

I still think disabling the Relay network should be one of the ways you can "win".
not forget reapers came from dark space in no more 5 years without mass relay.

That just prolongs the extinction cycle. Everyone would be trapped in their own systems.
Keep in mind Reapers can FTL throughout the galaxy without Mass Relays, albeit slowly. Then again, they are immortal, and time is meaningless to them.

That would just blow. Or be very interesting. Now there would be all of these isolated human and alien colonies out amongst the stars.
Eh, I don't know. The Reaper technology lives and dies with the Reapers? It'd be sad, but in a totally awesome way.

If the whole galaxy bans together to fight Reapers and win it will make them look like pieces of ****
however if a Deus Ex Machina is used it will be too convenient.
so is there a way to defeat them without pissing off the fans?
Make a Mass Effect 2.5 where we actually follow Shepard's last comment: "The Reapers are coming and I'm going to find a way to stop them." [Shiala - Indoctrination by Reapers/cured of indoctrination due to Thorian, Rana - Studied indoctrination at Saren's request, Mordin can work with Shiala and Rana to come up with a safe way to prevent indoctrination; find 37 million year old Reaper (after getting indoctrination "vaccine") and study it to find weak points/adopt reaper tech to make more powerful weapons]
Wait, ME3's coming out in 4 months. Never mind.

It's not, and even if it were, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.
Moreover, the "ring" is mentioned prior to ME3. As I said, the plot device is foreshadowed...
Like in LotSB when Liara says that the former Shadow Broker was looking for more Prothean artifacts, for example.
Or perhaps the recently discovered chamber in the Prothean ruins on Mars.

Whoever wrote that should learn a thing or two before throwing cool words left and right.
Or learn to not make up some on his/her own, for that matter.

And I don't know where you got that bit of info about the Prothean ruin on Mars, but I'm guessing it's somewhere equally obscure like a codex entry or, even worse, a comic?
No the first time the Mars Ruins are mentioned is in ME1. It's a Quest.

The endings I read aren't going to please many people. Assuming what I read was accurate.
If the endings in the leak are all that ends up in the final game, and we're stuck with that stupid manner of 'defeating' the reapers, complete with the added bonus of whatever way we choose to do with it always having a massive downside, being the only way to 'beat' them, then I'm just not going to buy it.
There's just no way I can justify wasting money and 30+ hours of my life when all I'll get is that unsatisfying conclusion, no matter how good the rest of the game is. So hopefully the leak is either wrong or only one way of beating them, not the only way.

Yeah, that's not the definition of Deus Ex Machnina. That's closer to being a retroactive continuity.

I know what they mean. That's why I don't believe such a "trustworthy" source as TV Tropes.
Because they have gotten things wrong MANY times before. Not to mention that they make sh*t up on a daily basis.

As hilarious, true and smart as tropes are in many cases, it is also a fact there's now a trope for EVERYTHING so people can validate their negative opinion on anything they didn't like in a movie. TV Tropes is the RottenTomatoes of "I don't like this! Need link to post on internet to back up my opinion!".TV Tropes wrote...

I was more thinking about the experiments the Protheans did on humans.
Is it really so far fetched that the new discovered Chamber, may be the location they did those experiments?
I hope not. The last sentence of the Quest is like a big red sign for me.
Forget the Quest ever existed dear player, it's not relevant for the plot at all!!!!11111
Or I'm reading to much into it.
