OK, so before anyone accuses me of trolling, etc. let me say that my intention here is not what you might think.   My question is, how old are you? The reason I ask is that I am probably one of the oldest gamers in here and I wonder if there are any other folks in my age range.  I'm  a 51 year old single father who has been gaming off and on for years.  I started out on the pinball machines at an early age and kept going,  playing the various platforms along the way until now, very happy spending a few hours a day on my 360 and sometimes on my PC. 

I think I am perhaps an anomaly. Maybe not.  Am I alone here?....just asking.

In Australia they're only rated for 15+ so you're all good.

Lol, here in Belgium it's 18+, but nobody cares here. They would even sell it to a 6 year old.

I live in The Netherlands. Same story here. 18+ but not a single shopkeeper cares.


PS: Do you live in the Walloon or the Flanders area? In other words: Do you speak Dutch or French as your native language? Just curious.

EDIT... I see now.........  Really???? 18+ game??? Wow..... And everyone thinks the British are uptight, I guess we aren't at that after all ;)

That's not true. I live in The Netherlands but I often import my games from the UK. Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both 18+ in both The UK and The Netherlands.

So, don't lie to me.

Not true ^^ I bought Mass Effect 1 in London and it was 15+ (Yes, I had to show my ID DX)

I'm 22, going to be 23 next month. ...I don't feel that old though, at all. :/

Also, ME1/2 and DAO/DA2 are rated R13 here... I don't know why they'd be 18+, tbh. :/

I can send you a picture of my game shelf if you like, I have two copies of Mass Effect on my shelves and 3 copies of Mass Effect 2 on there as well

The new mass effect is apparently an 18 so maybe thats where they got confused
