That's not true. I live in The Netherlands but I often import my games from the UK. Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both 18+ in both The UK and The Netherlands.

I can send you a picture of my game shelf if you like, I have two copies of Mass Effect on my shelves and 3 copies of Mass Effect 2 on there as well :P


I could do the same. My Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 both come from the UK and both say 18+ on the label, both rated by the BBFC (e.g. British Board of Film Censors).

Edit: Oh I see that only my ME1 is rated by the BBFC. My ME2 is rated by PEGI.

Right.... but you aren't IN the UK and trust me a 12 year old can buy it :) I'm not looking for an argument... I am simply saying that if you purchase it here that is rating...
And ME is rated 12......... so that blows that one out of the water...........

lol! that's how I thought too, I couldn't honestly see or think of a future past 30. Now I'm 36 and it is still a shock to the system :blink:

And for got to mention earlier, I started gaming about 14 with the pen and paper stuff. I know my dad got some kinda beat up pc as a kid that pretty much did nothing. When I got an Amiga that is when I got into video games.

Really, "old" and "young" is a matter of perspective. Today, a 6 years old kid called me "sir" and "the man with the long hair". At that moment I feel old.

But at my university, my game-design teacher calls me "kid" and "the kiddo with the long hair". At that moment I feel young.
