Man!, I loved that show.  I used to turn up the TV volume so loud when the theme music came on.  It drove my parents nuts....one of the great theme songs of all time.

I love Dr. Who. We used to watch it in high school for english class and since then I've watched every episode

Trust me, that's just a fase. It's the "I think I'm really old and mature but actually I'm just a little kid"-fase. You'll probably get back to gaming when you hit my age (23 years old).

When you've actually grown up you'll realize there is no growing-out of games. Games always stay fun.
Heck, when I was your age, I refused to play Pokémon because it was supposed to be childish. But now that I'm 23 years old, I don't give a f*ck. I play Pokémon whenever the hell I feel like. Pokémon is friggin' awesome!

I know right, Pokémon was all childish when I was younger later those chilidish things become the greatest things ever... its unreal how many talks at work/university are about things that are suppose to be childish. It's just awesome to grab my GameBoy black and white and play like Pokémon or Ninja Turtles when I'm really bored:P

I turned 21 about two weeks ago but I look like 15 apparently because some people still ask my ID when I buy beer... that gets really annoying

Hmmm!!, I like!!  Will you marry me?...just kidding. I'm to lazy to persue a relationship.  Besides, doing so would infringe on my gaming and drinking time, not to mention my naps.

OK, so before anyone accuses me of trolling, etc. let me say that my intention here is not what you might think.   My question is, how old are you? The reason I ask is that I am probably one of the oldest gamers in here and I wonder if there are any other folks in my age range.  I'm  a 51 year old single father who has been gaming off and on for years.  I started out on the pinball machines at an early age and kept going,  playing the various platforms along the way until now, very happy spending a few hours a day on my 360 and sometimes on my PC. 

I think I am perhaps an anomaly. Maybe not.  Am I alone here?....just asking.

I'm 47. As a kid, I hung out in the local arcades playing the pinball and video machines. Got to the point I actually had to ask permission from the owner whether or not I could play certain video or pinball games (I got so good at them I could play for hours on a single quarter so he didn't make any cash on them). I actually ended up working for him for a couple years, repairing his machines and collecting the cash from some of the other locations he had going.

I game on a regular basis, almost completely PC. The kids have a Wii, which I play once in a long while, but mostly it's PC games for me. I don't watch much TV at all, and only the occasional movie. The wife doesn't mind my gaming habit, as it's a very minor vice in the grand scheme of things. I have no intention of setting gaming aside any time soon.
