 So I wake up today and for some reason I think about the Trial and something I think would be awesome. I think a scene showing the Reapers approaching Earth would be awesome and it could be broken up type thing as Shepard heads to the Trial room. Or it starts right after Shepard gets to the Trial room and after you make each choice/ or when the  choice was going to be brought up for newplayers it cuts off a bit showing the Reapers pass one of the Planets in the Solar system. It keeps doing that up to the point of passing Mars than the Trial would keep going on and be interrupted like the devs have told us many times it would be. I think the biggest inspiration for this thought comes from Independance Day when it shows the Alien ship passing the moon and than when they see the ship on the radar slow down and suddenly break into a bunch of smaller ships. 

Well hope you guys enjoyed my Idea, I had fun thinking it up and than sharing it with everyone.

Actually, they're doing something like that, by saying that all the colonies beyond Sol have gone dark and right before the Reapers throws down the best interruption yet on Shepard and the committee, one of the officers at the meeting says that they've lost contact with the moon base.

They're not showing the Reapers traveling through the system, but I think they got the feel for it pretty good.
