Hell, since the infamous (and apocryphal) leaks the amount of new information about the game decreased a lot.

Aside the little snipets from BioWare Pulse, the CE trailer and Invasion there is nothing substantial: no new gameplay trailers, no updates on "N7 Ops", the developers are less active on twitter...the list goes on.

I don't want their marketing becomes spoilerish like ME2 but they really could throw something new to us because to me it seems they're punishing us because of the leaks.

Well, you guys can bash me now. lol

Hopefully he's alive and well.  Thanks to him some of us were able to save our money for something better(Ninja Gaiden 3 in my case).

The game has months till release, don't expect anything too substantial until later. The earliest there might be new info is at the VGAs but Bioware is probably putting all their resources into the new game reveal.

ANd to answer the title; no, they love us. All of us.

Contrary to semi-popular belief, silence is not indicative of anger.  There could be any number of reasons why we haven't gotten anything new for a while, namely that they have release timetables for each bit of information.

That leak probably revealed a lot of issues, and I heard that when the story was leaked a lot of people were upset, I've heard rumors that they were going to do some tweaking to the story based on the reaction to the leak. Not too sure if it's true or not, I tend to not look up anything regarding the leak, I want to be completely surprised when I play it, haha.

Not only that, but they really only have four months left until the game is to be released. I'd imagine this is where everything starts getting stressful and they have to make sure everything is just right. So, I doubt they're mad at us, they're probably just extremely busy.

They're mad with power from their imaginary fanbase that claims to like the changes they're making to their games.

I feel abandoned. :(
.
There is no new info whatsoever since GamesCon... there was the announcement of multiplayer and a shallow video about it, but that doesn't answer any question, just raises new ones.
.
Thank Microsoft for the leak, if not...

No, if anything, I think Bioware has been listening to some fan subgroups too much.

It's Christmas season, there are TONS of titles coming out, and I doubt Bioware wants ME news to be drowned out by all the noise. Once the holiday season is officially over in January, I expect a full on media assault of trailers, commercials, and magazine interviews. That's pretty much what happened with ME2 here in the States, anyway.

I have not seen the script but the two vids were not that big of a deal tbh just an intro level that had a few glitches and a Multiplayer vid showing us a shotgun(it was underpowered but that will probably be fixed).

Anyway BW is not punishing us most likely they are hard at work giving us the best product possible. Which, in my opinion, is much more important than that silly thing called hype.

Release timetables.

I would be more pleased if they release new information on a regular basis than overwhelm us in the first months of 2012.

It gives us more time to discuss it and more feedback for them.

well they can hide the info all they want but the demo is coming in Jan and earlier for BF 3 owners . So yeah it will be 3 months from release once it hits Dec so the time for hiding info is over . People bought Gears 3 and they showed SP videos and talked about the story. hell people bought Skyrim and zenimax talked and showed SP videos

Considering how many games are going to be heavily marketed during the next month, it makes sense that Bioware would wait until January to focus on heavy marketing.

@Felipe - True, but there's also the fact that we don't know what stage of development they've hit, especially with the leak. BW could just be taking care not to release anything that is still subject to change.

In the end, none of us is part of the dev team, so all of this is just speculation.

Typically, that'd be any subgroup the person complaining isn't part of.

It will have to go gold some time in  Jan so the games can be pressed to DVD / Blu Ray before March 6 .

I think on Twitter they've said they've been very busy with the game recently. I'm sure marketing will increase significantly after The Old Republic.
