THIS.  I've patiently waited since 2008 for a satisfying conclusion and from wha I hear, the Virmire Survivor gets the shaft again.  

What the hell.

I have enjoyed ME1 and 2, and look forward to ME3, but hope that it's as good as the first two.  Bioware did set themselves up for a LOT of work, and they certainly can't please everyone.  But the character assassination of Kaidan and Ashley must stop.  It's bull shyt.

I don't think it's fair to say Bio is mad at us. It would be more accurate to say, "Bioware isn't satisfied with it's fanbase any more".

They've decided there aren't enough of us. They figure they can broaden their appeal and make more money by dumbing  the games down. I think this is a stupid strategy, but it's their call.

Personally I no longer care for the newer Bio games and I'm not going to buy them any more. They stink of EA now... cheap and just kinda dumb. But I can still enjoy the classic stuff.

On a side note... If ya'll wanna speak Ghetto that's fine. Personally I think it's kind of weak, but maybe I'm just bitter because I've invested so much time and energy learning how to speak and spell in English. Anyway, you have the right to express yourself any way you want but please stop swearing. It's a TOS violation and we do have kids in here.

It ain't the worst thing ever, but it surely was a big failure. Point is, BioWare already got the lesson from it. The sales plummeted and their reputation was largely ruined. Pointless to criticize over and over again, they already know they screwed up.

I can't say for sure, but I would not be surprised. It hasn't been the most enjoyable time for ME developers lately: Origin, leaks, and whatever else I may have missed. Do take in mind that they might be a bit, you know, busy with polishing things with a few months left before it goes gold. Personally, I would say to wait until a developer(potentially) posts on this topic for tidbits in that department. Considering the vitriolic nature of some of the posts, the chances are auspicious at best.

The mods may be irritated though.

Honestly, I didn't read the leak, but from what I see here in BSN a lot of folks are actually complaining that the VS, Liara, Tali and Garrus are the only recurring characters who got the spotlight...

So which is it? It can't be both, that's for sure... :/

I am not sure. I only know what the boyfriend has told me, and he's really upset that Liara and Ashley/Kaidan are tossed aside in favor of 'team dextro' Which in of itself is not bad, but it would be great if they all had worthy roles in the game.

I won't call the situation with VS "complete catastrophe", but that's definitely not that someone would like to get after 5 years of waiting for favourite character to return.

About "BioWare hates us" - sorry to disappoint, but this particular fan group isn't much different from any other kind of fans... if you know how fans generally tend to react, you may pretty much predict how BSN will, so why be mad at expected things? It was rather obvious that, after third party accidentally leaked info, fans would poke their noses.

Lack of new info, as for me, has the same origin as lack of vehicle sections in original games or lack of elevator rides or lack of inventory - we've complained about feature (spoilers in marketing, in this case), we've got the reason of complains removed. No new thing either.

Can't say if they are or not, but honestly it's somewhat irrelevant. They have bigger concerns to address, seeing how they're a business after all. Fans will take anything at a personal standpoint, thus producing rash illogically assumptions, and rightly so. BioWare cannot be allowed to think in such a state of mind, for them, business will always come first and foremost as it should. They can't afford to hold grudges, not if they want to be abundant.
