Additionally, she gives TIM the proverbial two finger salute and resigns at the end of ME2. I highly doubt she's going to have much useful intel.

I honestly don't remember... she dies in most of my playthroughs... for dramatic effect and making it feel like a suicide mission and what not.

Lazarus was obviously a project in a different cell than the military part of Cerberus, since Miranda doesn't need or seem to know about it.

Meh. Can't stand to kill off any of my precious maties (didn't even know they could die my first run). I find it funnier to go in, have a kerbstomp battle with the collectors, then trololol my way out.

Actually, Miranda is aware of the more military suide of Cerberus. She even explains Shepard the goals of those Cells. She was second in command of Cerberus, after all.
Regardless of how much help she can be; there are certainly a lot of factors to take into consideration; Cerberus was an immense part of Miranda's adult life, ME3 needs to provide closure on it.
