I was always hoping they'd leave a spot or two open for the player to permanently recruit who they want. Seemed the best way in my opinion to make everyone happy.

There is a reason why Tali, Garrus and Liara have more supporters.

As a personal note in ME2 i was only using Garrus and Tali did not really like the others always perceived as intruders. In one of my gameplay i actually let all new members die and getting out alive with just Garrus and Tali.....that was difficult i must admit

Petitions are not going to help, Bioware's marketing folk are bound by an internal calendar for release dates. Sure the higher ups could lift the information embargo, but that's not going to happen. We just have to wait, and looking at the calendar, the wait is going to be over soon. Now that SWTOR is out, they'll be gearing up to disclose more on ME3.

There are Kaidan and Garrus as permanent squad member. So my Shep has her lover and BFF aka space batman with her. That is enough for me. Even if the rest of the squadmember would contain drooling jellyfishes I would be a happy girl
