ANYONE, who has the game can use it. I pre ordered and have it.

You can even download the ones that youre not "entitled" to also, theyll just be locked.

Yeah that thread has never worked for me, I always get "cannot find "DAUpdater.xml"

There is probably a fix somewhere on the forums but the search feature breaks my brain sometimes.

My original point, all of that aside, is that making users jump through hoops to gt the free DLC is a bit of a kick to the groin.

Ya you open the daupdater.exe program in your dragon age folder(wherever you put it)

and drag the downloaded file and click install.

What are you takling about, check the tech forum for info on how to install DLC you are entitled to. Anyone who buys the game can have the edge up to Nov 30.

It has nothing to do with trust, at least in my case. I did buy it on day one, but that is rarely the case, in fact DAO is the first game I have ever pre-ordered, that I can rememeber.

I still agree with this, and non of this helps console users at all.   I am glad I can snatch up some free stuff because i use PC, but that dosn't mean the way that it is being handled is great.

Guys it's just a trivial ingame item: expect hundreds of these once the toolset gets some wider usage. Besides, people purchasing the game between Nov 20-30th didn't get pre-order items now did they

I understand that bugs happen, im a software dev...

But releasing somthing with a limited time, and then having a issue where some people cannot get it because of said issue is a real killer...
