The Edge will be available to anyone - including those that already own DA:O - that register their game by Nov 30 on any platform (read the small print).

You might want to get your webteam cracking on fixing the social site asap then.  I can't register because the Profile pop-up is too far away from the profile bit, so the popup pops back down before you can get to the "register game" bit.

The "Games" link under the straight Profile is simply broken now and doesn't work.  It used to.

Yes, let's reward those who didn't trust us enough to purchase our product immediately!

I trusted them.  I just had credit problems that I couldn't get sorted out in time.  Thanks for "punishing" me guys :P

Ayakashioni, thanks for the tip. Has downloaded the DLCs and opened the Content Updater but cannot drag anything from the downloaded folder into the daupdater? . Perhaps because there´s nothing called DAZIPS in these files? And the daupdater seems to only want DAZIP files?
Could you explain?

i had the same issue  the way i fixed it was when i went to save the download i added .dazip at the end of the file name  then after it downloaded and i open the updater and had it look for dazip files it showed up

I'm using IE8.  If Bioware can't get it working, I just won't register I guess.  I'm not downloading firefox just so that I can register a game when Bioware's site team continually breaks the place.

I really understand that we only can get the dlcs we payed for, But it´s an mystery for me when some as you, Siefz, claims that we legally can get Vigilance, Wicked Oath, Lion´s Paw for free but where could we find these items? In my list of avaible items no one of them are listed???

Go to the DA:O Tech Support forum and open up the sticky topic about fixing DLC.  Somewhere near the bottom of the first post is a list of DLC and links to download the DAZIP files.  Download them (you'll have to manually change the extension from .zip to .dazip if you use Internet Explorer), then open the daupdater.exe program (/bin_ship/daupdater.exe).  Drag the DAZIP files into that window, select them all, and then click "Install."

Be careful, though.  You can install everything, but you'll get an "unauthorized" message if you try to use one that isn't freely available or registed to you (such as Guildmaster's Belt).  The only free DLC are the ones that I listed previously.

You don't have to be careful. Just download all of the DLC packs, install them using the DAUpdater and the worst you'll see is (Unathorized) beside a few of the items. There's no negative effects due to having those, they just won't be in your game.

It seems that Memory Band, Feral Wolf Band, Guildmaster's Belt, Band of Fire, Dalish Promise Ring, and of course the CE items + pay for DLC are limited by where and what you bought. Everything else seems to work just fine.
