I can't seem to find a constant in the toolset for FEAT_WEAPON_FOCUS_FALCHION, for use with the GetHasFeat() function. I'm polishing off a far less cumbersome script for generating starting equipment than the OC has, and want to give preferance to weapons the PC has focus feats for.

Are the integers associated with the constants simply the line number in feat.2DA?

[Edit: 6 minutes after I created this thread, it showed up in the first page of a Google search!]

Yes. Just use the integer directly (rather than indirectly via the constant).

Thanks.

It seems that there aren't any falchion-related feat constants at all, judging by this list.

Falchion is wonky to begin with, you'll find fixes to the class feats to add in the various feats to support it all over the place and in kaedrins content.

When you can't find it in the toolset, just check the 2DA.

1590 for the raw line and for the feat number.

It turns out that a quicker way to get the number is to select a creature and look it up in the Feats tab.

The downside of using the number directly is that you then have to comment that line in the script to remember what it does (unless you fancy memorising every feat number - which, for the record, I don't).

Judging by the numerous missing constants I've encountered (or rather, not encountered), it would seem that the scripts that define them have been recycled from NWN1 without much modification.
