Some may have not been fans. As people have stated before, however, she's not "hot" in the traditional sense. You have a general sense of what her body looks like, but she's completely covered from head to toe - add a darth vader mask with a few festive scarves that match the color pallette, and you have Tali'Zorah. What makes her an attractive character is not just "dose hips". Humans can't help to be attracted to physical features first in real-life situations - it's our nature, and it can't be helped. However, what keeps them fans of Tali is something far more than skin-deep. Or Exosuit-deep. Whatever.

Tali's attractiveness has nothing to do with her body, though that's not hard to look at either. I enjoy Tali's personality, and sincerely find her attractive for it.

cuz shes always been the non eye-candy from the start anyway

shes the darkhorse and if her appearance without the helmet fits exactly her character even if shes not a beaut alien like samara then good.
