Zeel has a point, though. There is consistently more moan, arsepain, and QQ on this board than any I've been on previously (all of them 5 - 7 years).

You have to understand where it's coming from though; it's really only here because bioware made such fantastic characters. When something polarizes people, that usually means it's done right. Think about all of the battles on here every day over things like PvR: it means they're doing it right. War is the natural state of things.

Still Eternal. The whining here is substantial. it's mind numbing at times.

I'd be cool with it, if I could retaliate, but honestly, you say one "mean" thing and you're banned.

Tali is a very successful character. She gets powerful response from both fans and haters.

I know, but polarizing does not necessitate pettiness, pseudo-intellectuality, arrogance, and the inability to express ideas without whining or resorting to insults. I know this is the Internet, but BSN seems to be a veritable goldmine of all the above.

Exactly. So Ashley's character is "done right" because ppl hate or like her? ;)

I think the guys here try to defend & support their beloved character(s): that's a good thing and keeps the forum alive. Nothing is more boring than a forum everyone concurs with what the guy above said.

However, a debate is NOT a flame war. Guess that's something we should keep in mind ...

I don't care how successful she is. Why do these people get to act like clowns. if anyone tried this behaviour in real life, someone would've smacked the sht out of them along time.

Do you read some of these complaints.

"WAH MOAR TALI!!"

"OMG ASHLEY EYEBORWS WAAAAAAAH"

Well the reason for that is because of your history, like I said. As retarded and absurdly inappropriate for an internet forum as it sounds, we all have to live with the choices we've made, and the ones we make that affect others' view of ourselves are the most binding. They require constant care to correct, but they can be corrected if we stick to it.

Don't you dare. Don't YOU ever make the comparison. My action is a reaction to what has been said. More importantly, once i get my rant out, I'm done for a few weeks. Look, I'm already back to civil. These girls, do not have a reset button. It's full ON BTCHCRY for aslong as possible.

@ eternalAmbiguity

Thats pretty much it, when characters are written to the point that people actually care what happens to them, the writers did a good job. Its like that for any book that i like to read, i like them because i care what happens to the characters. I like Liara, tali, garrus, samara, Kasumi, thane and Mordin, and i understand that others like different characters too.

I still think everyone should just chill and quit the attacks on other LIs that they dont personally like, dont expect it to happen, but would like for it too. But then im a laid back individual and dont let things bother me that i cant control / influence, so i just sit back, read forums and laugh when it gets crazy up in here.

*edit* which is most of the time tbqh

^ That's why, Zeel. If you keep attacking people, why do you expect them to treat you civilly?

Guys. Are you hearing yourselves? I like the characters too. Do you see me act in the way that BSN does?

Surely, you joke.

Don't blame other people for your actions. Meeting people like these both on the internet and in real life happens. If you can't handle yourself in a way that is not demeaning to yourself, it is your loss.

Try to be more carefull with your words, some people take them a little more "offensive" than they should. The last time I talk freely and careless I ended up marked as an **** here.
But also it was a little sensitive matter so I understand their reaction

About the topic... I don't have problem with that, just keep the helmet and go ahead :D
But being serious, I really won't have any problem with it. I'm kinda tired of the fanservice/women look perfect.

Depends on the fan. I love Tali purely in a bro (or sis, what with having a vagina and all) way, but I'm sure if she ended up being mecha Cthulhu, many a fan would be displeased.
