Will the patch fix the Ultimate Edition DLC problems on the Xbox? I'll feel slightly cheated if it doesn't, having just purchased the game to find out that i may have just bought a second copy of a game i already have...

I downloaded the patch so I could play some DLC and the patch says DAO is not e ven installed, which is ...entirely wrong since im half way through the game, again. How do I fix this without having to reinstall?

I'm guessing they didn't fix the %healing bonus not being applied bug.

Dear Chris Priestly,
Is there going to be any more future Patches that fixes the minor game glitches such as armor texture (Sentinel armor set) & missing item sets (for example: missing boots of Blackblade armor set)?
Sincerely,
Long Time Player

is it best to have Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age Origins: Awakening both installed together to get this new patch to work correctly and properly???

It'll work fine without Awakening.

thought i'd find something like this somewhere, but haven't so far:

i understand that 1.05 breaks approval modifications that used to be available in The Warden's first conversation with Alistair (a potential of +4 or so, iirc).
is there an elegant solution that doesn't involve reverting to 1.04?

I read in the patch notes that they fixed the naked imported warden bug for awakenings. BUT, when I do it still shows my warden naked, and the gear he was wearing in Origins is gone. So its still broken.

Where would you find this patch, it has been awhile since I have played any of my computer games.

@Bioware How come there was no fix for the missing Ancient Elven Boots and only the fan fix?

So, I just installed this game again, because I loved Dragon Age Origins, and bought all the DLC a while ago.

DLC ALL fails, I went into my files, and checked out my version running through steam, and it indeed says it's version 1.05, however, it's as if the game itself isn't recognizing this. When you select the DLC, the update number 1.03-1.04 is red, which to me, indicates it's not finding this "update".

I suppose it's a shame I can't play what I paid for. But, as expected from anything published by EA I suppose. Keep up the "Good Work".

Now that the cost for a 360 patch has been dropped (http://www.escapistm...Xbox-360-Titles), might we get a new patch for the console version?

Actually you're okay.  The each DLC has its own version number....  and all of them are less than 1.05
(e.g. Stone prisoner is 1.0)

I'm scared! Origin started downloading a patch for my pre-ordered CE of DA:O!
Origin has already screwed up my ME2 launch .exe
1.05 which I had never heard about before tonight is only 92MB... Origin patch is 190MB...
*scared*

PS:
awc.dll load failed... screw you Origin makers... stupid piece of software is worse than a BETA forum! Why did BW got mixed with this people?

PS2:
installing 1.5 on top of Origin unauthorized, unasked for, unneeded automatic patch downloading fixed it! Eat that Origin lame programmers!
