On my first playthrough Fenris left me at the end even though we had a romance. I was a female mage and sided with the mages. I wanted so badly to cuss him out but I couldn't. I also wanted Hawke to have the opportunity to lay out everything she did for Fenris and make him feel guilty for his betrayel. Something like: "I fought for your freedom just so you could deny me mine." There is the option to ask him to join you in fighting for mages and Hawke say "I thought freedom from slavery meant something to you." That line is not enough for me.

Also I wanted to be able to tell Fenris to shut up on more than one occassion. He keeps bad mouthing mages in front of mage Hawke as if that wouldn't be hurtful. It's almost like having a black friend and always talking about how horrible black people are.

Also, hug interrupts for Merrill.

Some of her quests were pretty rough.

I definitely wanted an OH HELL NO from Hawke when Fenris uses Leandra's death against Anders, and a much stronger one when Meredith tries the same against Hawke. And the opportunity to tell Sebastian that if he wants Anders dead, I won't stop him, but I'm not going to do it for him. And the ability to hug Carver every time he does something childish. And the chance to WTF at Beth during Legacy/MotA when she's all "yay Circle! the Circle rocks!" And the ability to talk to Anders about something, anything, other than mages.

Indeed. Liara and Tali got 'em (well Liara's isn't a interrupt, but still) Why not Merrill! Image IPB

The option to remind the flipping Templar-mage conspirators that I've been systematically undermining Meredith's authority for years and am in no way working for her would've been nice.

Seriously. Guys. Guys! Come on, I agree with what you're trying to do here. Stop kidnapping Bethany already. No? No. Fine. I guess you all die for no real reason, then.

See also:

"What I'd love is the coin to back up my brother's confidence. How about it, human?"
"Actually, you know what? I've got the coin, and the maps. You apparently have neither. What do I need you for again?
"

"Is that... Lyrium?"
"It's definately magic, and not the good kind"
"Oh. I guess I'd better leave it here then, and not just chuck it to Varric whilst making mental 'cha-ching!' noises."

And, well, this.

I kinda wish I could be more snippy with Knight-Commander Cullen.

"Hey there! Haul off anybody else's sister to the Circle today? No? Must be a slow day then."

I wish I had the option to be more courteous to the Arishok.  Or companionable, if I'm playing a sarcastic Hawke.  It felt sometimes like I was being forced into playing Hawke as disliking and even hating the Arishok when I personally never had that feeling.  So ... I guess I would like a chance to say to him, "I agree with you" to some extent??  But then it wouldn't have made sense for the Arishok to attack the city I guess...

I'd like to be able to tell Fenris to play nice or watch his mouth during party banter.  And to hear his grumbly little response

@moto? Funny because I felt that my rival Hawke was being forced to be too nice to the arrishok even though she was an agressive not-so-nice-word, that didn't care one thing about being a diplomat.

What I would have like is to ask Cullen how he ever got the idea the Meridith would only arrest a mage-siding Hawke.

I think I nodded over most of what's been mentioned so far, heh.

I wanted to have some very CHOICE words for Anders after his emotional blackmail during the Justice quest.
I wanted to punch him in the face after Chantry Jenga. My mage!Hawke was PISSED, didn't want to kill him or let him go, but also didn't want to forgive him yet either.
I wanted to do ANYTHING to stop Orsino from becoming the Harvester. =( A punch in the face might work here too...

A part of me chickled at CHantry Jenga. I shall forever scream that in my head whenever I play. But back on subject...wekk for what hasnt been said, I really would like a negotionater option to Snufff out Grace so Thrask can live. Seems the only competent Templar around has to get killed so we can all see how coocoo for lyrium puffs Meredith is for the anullment. Well that a falcon punch intterupt for certain facepalm scenes and moving in with Fenris OR letting him move in with you.

When I tell sister Petrice I don't want to escort her stolen Saarebas out of the city, it means, I *dont* want any part of it!
Agreed about the Justice quest, would have liked to have more choice words for Anders. Said this before, but also when Anders says "The sooner I die, the sooner my name lives on to inspire generations" My Hawkes respond "No one will remember your name!" (stabbity stab)
And, of course, to tell Fenris how much mage Hawke loves him and to please move in, pretty please.
Also, would have been nice to give Merrill a hug, during a few parts in the game, in a romance or not, poor crazy sweet elven lass. She deserves hugs.

Oh, whilst I remember:

"The Templars are not the only ones who know how to break a mage."
"Good thing I'm not a mage then."

(Fenris, talking about Hawke's mabari) "It's merely a story, but I like the idea that they found the barbarians more... palatable than the mages. Let's hope yours doesn't take after his ancestors too strongly, hmm?"
"That would certainly be a problem if I were a mage, yes."

"How about it? Would you take what I offered the boy? Scion of the Dalish, savior of Elvish kind?"
"Can you... do that?"
"I am the greatest of my kind! Whatever tricks your pet has taught you will pale by comparison!"
"Seriously. Guys. Not a mage here. Rogue. Rogue. Say it with me. Not. A. Mage."

On the first one, the broken mages the Chasind is talking about are the ones he's leading against Hawke.
On that last one, Merrill's "pet" that Pride Demon is talking about is Audacity, the demon she contacted to learn how to 'cleanse' the mirror.

What I would have liked is, at the end of Legacy:

(aggressive option)
Hawke: "Oh, one more thing before you go."
Janeka/Larius: "Yes?"
Hawke: "Die, Corypheus."
(cutscene of Janeka/Larius getting a class-specific cinematic deathblow from Hawke)
Hawke: "I hate it when people take me for a fool."

The option to punch Anders when he questions Hawke over a Fenris or Merrill romance during 'Justice' would be nice. Or chew him out at least.

"I hate you, Fenris."
"Shut up, Anders."
"Sod off, Aveline."
"Blow me, Meredith."

And last but not least.

"Drop the knife, Orsino, before I shove it up your ass."

I'd have liked to have a reply to a romanced Isabela's codex entry, where she is mentioned after the Arishok fight as having stormed off after telling Hawke;

"I didn't do it for them. I did it for you. It was all because of you"

I wish we'd had a chance to say something similar to her when she questions why you still want her around in Act 3.

"Do you think I fought the Arishok to become Champion? I did it because of you! I may have died, and for you! So, I'm going to kiss you... for me. Pay for a room... for us. But the next round of drinks... is on you!"

A minor thing amongst all the great suggestions here, but this one royally pissed me off. After Anders moves in to my house and he STILL says "I need to find a nicer place." WTF? "Fine, go back to your hovel, jerkoff!"

I wanted to tell Gamlen off during my MHawke/Anders romance when he said something about knowing which one of us is 'the girl'. Rude and homophobic. My Hawke would not have stood there and took that. And I agree R2.

Anders upon entering his clinic: "...but at least it's clean."
Hawke, eyeing the corpses that have been lying on the same tables for six year: "Riiiiiiiight."  :P

I have to agree with what everyone has said so far. There were a lot of good moments when Hawke should have had some choice words for people and said nothing.

I also wanted to hurt Petrice and tell Grace how stupid she must be to get caught after I convinced the Templars that she was dead.
