The Tardis flying past the Normandy at some point ideally, but any Doctor who reference would be nice.
Agreed. Did you spot the Doctor Who reference in Lair Of The Shadow Broker?
"You travel with fascinating companions, doctor."

Ha! Despite my love of Doctor Who, I swear that one was completely unintentional. The Broker addressed her as doctor because I wanted him cool and formal up until Liara got under his skin.
Minor edit: Not that I didn't eventually notice how much it sounded like a line from a Dr. Who Villain, but it took Steve Blum's calmly menacing delivery to make me go "Hey, wait a minute..."
He was the Shadow Broker? Woah. It's always nice to hear one of my favorite VA's in one of my favorite games, but I didn't realize he was the SB. I knew he was Wilson, but now I find out he was the Shadow Broker and Grunt (looked that one up) too?
How did I miss that?

Clearly the work of your subconsious mind.
That is certainly not impossible.
we have to go deeper
It's nothing but Tardises, all the way down.
I too, approve of Dr Who related Easter Eggs, unintentional or not. If it's Tardieses all the way down, then Tardises all the way down it shall be.

Meet a Reaper named Cthulu
During a conversation with an asari regarding their reputation for dating nearly any species, to which she retortes that humans are not much better and saying, "before you know it, they're talking about dating their pet hamster!"
A salarian uncomfortably admitting that some members of his race did try earlier contact with humans but it ended in disaster when the scout team went missing (Area 51 reference).
These three are nice.

Sylvf, did you write LotSB? I've often wondered if "Operative Morat" was a reference to The Player Of Games or just a coincidence?

I was one of three writers on LotSB. I've read some Iain Banks, but that particular line wasn't mine. (I'd promise to ask about it, but things around here are a little hectic at the moment and I'm afraid it might slip my mind. If you don't see me post here in a day or two please assume I'm busy bug-hunting.)
