It's really simple-Anora and Cauthrien cooked this up between them. The plan is to kill Howe and put the Warden in prison so he/she can't cause trouble at the Landsmeet.Cauthrien expects Howe is the source of all the problems with Loghain, and she wants him dead.If you're clever enough to escape Drakon, then you're worth negotiating with Anora. She will rebuke you for being dumb enough to acknowledge her though.

Pplr-she wants 2 things- 1. be queen 2. a chance for her father to live. You do those two things-you won't have any issues with her.

True enough but its even slightly easier than that.  She will go along with you saying you want her father to face "justice".  If designated as something other than Loghain must die she'll go with it-perhaps she is hoping for mercy from whatever court or she may simply accept it more when my reminding her that this is justice you are expanding it beyond desire for blood/revenge to the more socially aware thing that there is a concept of justice that most people wish society to fuction with.

As for Alistair, it's really second hand information at best. Did Maric ever put down in writing that he was Alistair's father? I always felt the case to make him King was pretty weak. I'd really like to know if Maric told Eamon or anyone else that Alistair was his son.I'm pretty sure he told Loghain, but I wouldn't expect him to make it public. It would have been really interesting to see a vote on who takes the throne-rather than put it on 1 person.

Concidering that Duncan knew there is a decent chance someone else knew as well.

Granted Duncan is long dead by the time of the Landsmeet but there is the possibility of finding whomever he either told or heard it from.

Wow seriously? That much Anora hate??

She tells you in the game if you ask her. She believes if Howe's men catch her, they'll throw her back in the dungeon or killer her. She also fears that her father's people would do the same or lock her up. Now comes Cautherin, Loghain's second in command and most loyal follower, and you basically say oh btw here's the Queen. Your lack of tact causes her to panic because if it comes to blows, she's disguised and could easily be killed as that is supposed to be a hard fight and one (story wise) the Warden being so outnumbered could easily lose. If that happens, she fears she'll die if she can't escape. Basically the tl;dr version is: You risked her life and ignored the stealth option and betrayed her so she said whatever to escape with her life.
