Hair aside, all I know is that Kaidan will be alive and well in my first ME3 playthrough. His biotics along with Liara's will make for some nice combos with my canon Adept. Plus he's a pretty cool dude. He doesn't have a bunch of drama going on like most of the other squadmates. Even though he went through some sh*t, being an L2, he plays it cool and doesn't make a big fuss. I like his attitude.

TBH my hairstyle changed a lot over a decade. Long as a teen past shoulders to short spiky to long on top sides shaved and so on to a crew cut fade today. However, I wasn't a military man accustomed to having a specific cut which he may well prefer.

Of course Kaidan looks the same ! It's quite difficult to change your looks when you're dead !

Why should Ashley and Kaidan get equal treatment in terms of character design? One of them is always dead in a playthrough, so no glaring contrast will hit whoever meets them in ME3 for the first time.

So how do we know that Ashley got a new haircut, She had her hair in a bun all though ME 1 - Perhaps all she did was letting her hair down.

Kaidan kinda has hir hair changed - with new textures it's clear his hair are actually curly. Plus some grey on temples.

Changes on haircut? Looks like this concept went full cycle - from ME1 Elvis-like one to rather messy picture from original CE picture to ME1-like again in new CE trailer

And one more thing: looks like BioWare initially had problems with long loose gair, so everyone who was supposed to wear this got short haircuts/buns. Now length of hair isn't a problem, so characters (who might be even intended to have hair hair - Ashley from original concept had jaw-long bob) are starting to get loose hair/ponytails/etc.

I don't think she had a hair cut. Ashley just undid her hair.

Kaidan's hair got improved graphics. Basically he now looks like what he was intended to look like in Mass Effect 1 (when the textures weren't as detailed).

Was there a point to this thread?

Well the point was to enrage people about Ashley being changed (again because we need another one of those threads.) or to enrage people about Kaidan not being changed (because that is just silly). The point is to encourage trolling. In before lockdown. Is that what you guys say?

I wouldn't say it isn't a problem... Did you see Ashley's her impale her shoulders in the beta?

And, of course, agreed with Isaac about best armor. To a degree where I want this armour available/modelled for Shepard

Modding would probably allow it, Kaidan & Shep have the same body otherwise.
