I doubt anybody here thinks that the final product will be completely changed from the leaked script, so your assumption is inappropriate.

My assumption is accurate. I've read some of these posts.

"THE SCRIPT IS BEING CHANGED GUYS!!!!!"

A lot of people think a major rewrite is happening and all your fears will be for naught.

This is not happening.

Anything more than minor changes will not occur.

And video game journalists strike once again!

It still boggles my mind how the exact quote "we listen to our fans all of the time.... If we can get ideas out of [the feedback] that will make the game better, sure. We're not averse to taking feedback." somehow turns into the headline "Leak feedback could alter Mass Effect 3's plot", which then becomes "The script has changed and will change more because of the leak" in a completely different article.

Same way "we are not ready to announce anything regarding multiplayer in ME3" becomes "ME3 will definitely not have multiplayer", I guess.

Okay, can someone point me where they said that they started working on changing the script today? Because it sounded more like they were already relatively done with putting in that content.

If this whole Citadel content is just another side mission (and it could very well be) then they don't need to rewrite much that will take a massive chunk out of their time.

That's it.

I forget where, but I definitely remember hearing about "cut Citadel content making it back into ME3" a while ago, so this isn't a recent development.

What's with all of the Christmas Shepards. Odd...

And I sure hope the Citadel is bigger than that walk-in closet we got in ME2.

You must be confusing this thread for something else, because I can't see such a statement anywhere.

All they have said is that they wish that some of the content in the script that they thought was good to not be cut. Does that mean they think there'll be a major overhaul? Of course not.

Then again, you have a funny tendency to blow everything out of proportion.

You mean the people who think that the haters' fears will be for naught? I've only seen people say, "It's just a rough draft, wait until we see the final draft!" in response to concerns raised about the leaks.

People are just curious about what will be changed. Give them a freakin' break. :?

Sweet.

What kind of content was cut, anyway?

http://social.biowar...5/index/8200010

Search for "Dropped Citadel Sidequest".  Of course, it could always be one that didn't even make it far enough to end up in the TLK file.

And Fox News want ratings. So they call Mass Effect 1 an alien sex simulator.

If they deserve nothing from you, then they don't deserve your "enlightenment" either. Now if you would stop harrassing everyone, Mr I've-been-banned-multiple-times-and-nobody-likes-me ;)

@OP: just read the article for real. I'm actually pretty excited that it'll be a callback to ME1. I'm hoping for something relating to Armistan Banes or the Consort (I can't see her being ignored again, when she has so many political connections).

I'm a nice guy. I will share what I know, even though they don't deserve it.

Hmm, join in wild speculation on whether it's genuinely being changed, or wait for a possible post from a developer. Choices, choices...

Oh, why not. My personal gut instinct is that the leaked script(though I personally haven't read it) is incredibly outdated, meaning any changes to the current script would be incredibly minor. What we can take from this is a confirmation on the old citadel mission. So there you go.

Also, there's no need for fighting. The discussion is on the cut content.

Yes you are a nice guy, and it is unfair on you that you still out of the kindness of your heart feel the obligation to tell these people of this reality.

Now please go.

Cause they did not get positive ratings for that.

Nah, the only rating a show needs is its viewer count.

If only.

Also, Zeel is right.

You know that someone has fallen to an all-time low when they're deigning to agree with one of the most obvious trolls that has ever disgraced the BSN with its existence.

EDIT: Inb4 Kaiser replies with the extremely predictable "Hurr durr I would never agree with you, Arcian."

You too Arcian? Gosh, it's still November.

And Zeel's trying to set a new path. He says he is, anyway, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Older script maybe , near final script that's been slightly tweaked is more likely.Either way I don't care as long as what I see in the game is good.

Holding one's tongue to avoid the banhammer is not the same thing as "setting oneself on a new path".
