ME3 is shaping to be exactly what I wanted, so I'm happy.
.
Although we know so little of major aspects of the game that that doesn't mean so much.

I'm not sure where I come down on that. It would be 80-90%, I like virtually everything I've heard so far, bar a few boneheaded ideas in the leaks, that I'm hoping don't make the final script, but if the leaked end choices make it in, I'm not buying the game full stop. So, 40%? I guess?

see my above quote on mesina2's points

Oh I know it's old and been changed since, but I really, REALLY hate those end choices, to the point where they would ruin ME 1 & 2 for me. Still, I'm not going to treat it that script as fact, and I'm keeping the two N7 edition preorders for my fiancé and I open, but come the inevitable leaks of the finished product after it goes gold, if there's not new endings that are as satisfying and comprehensive as the last two games, then I'll cancel both. Maybe buy my fiancé something nice with the £140 I'll be saving.

80% Here.

20% subtracted because of the treatment of my most favorite characters, which happen to be ME2 exclusives, and the introduction of one new team member who should've stayed where she was before instead of stealing a precious team member slot. 10% still salvageable by decent treatment of Miranda beyond what's in the leaks as suggested here.

Origin would've subtracted more but now I know how to block it, it's not such a big issue anymore. And should they dare to spy on me the law in my country is on my side.

I'm going with the majority, and I hate sounding like a fanboy but I voted 100 %. Maybe it's just hype, but the biggest thing I'm looking forward to in Mass Effect 3 isn't gameplay, costomization, vehicle exploration, or RPG aspects. The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is the story, (I didn't read the leaked script, I've only heard hints at whats going to happen mind you.) and what my old squadmates will say when they see me.

100% Few other series have gotten me so hyped. I have to admit though, some of the talk about leaks have me worried, not that I've read any myself, atleast not yet.

90%.

I'm happy with most of the information released and the general tone of the story. I'm disappointed with Origin's involvement. That annoys me.

I'm sorry, but the game's delivery method and drm are very much part of the game.  So long as its mentioned that people dislike origin specifically, there should be no reason why this does not affect their overall rating of the game thus far.

*Edit, we posted at the same time, no need to redirect me, and I'm not changing my answer.

it sounded like your vote was influenced by origins involvement, should we really judge a game by how it is given to the cutsomers?, no we shouldnt its like putting down a game because your copy was second hand, that doesnt affect the quality of the game. did anyone complain when portal was relased via steam? no did they base their reviews of it with steams involvement as a particular point? no. please please please dont put down ME3 because you dont like origin.

Perhaps your poll is too rigid. I strongly believe if ask people questions via polling you should leave possible responses as general as possible and let people vote for what reasons they want.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but even if Bioware manage to remember the vast majority of people like happy endings, she'll actually most likely be busy Raiding Tombs when ME3 is released. Then playing it once I've become a living walkthrough guide as happened with 2

Understandable. Maybe you should add this point to the poll description. Makes it clearer to the voters what the poll is not about and might avoid confusion. 90% then. :)

Currently at 80%, but a cautious 80%. It's been fluctuating between 90 and 50 as rumors, information, and clarifications get passed around, but so far it seems worth the good faith and money I've put into it.

I'm expecting to be facepalming a fair bit come my first playthrough, however.

This was tougher than I thought it would be. In the end I went w/100% because I love their games. ME3..what I know So Far, I really like. Although I'm nervous about it, too.

I haven't read the leaks. But I have overheard, and picked up hints. Not enuf tho to really know anything about it...just the vibe they're going for. It seems.

It fills me with a renewed sense of fear..lol. And that's actually Good. It's not taken for granted that everything's gonna be alright. There's a real trepidation now. Worry that they're going to rip my heart out. That's the way it should be game wise. Role playing wise.

Shepard has gotta be filled w/ trepidation. Everything could go horribly wrong. Now I feel like how imagine Shepard must feel. Not knowing what's gonna happen. Knowing that horrible things are likely to happen.

Smug sense of security is gone. But there's still that small shred of hope that maybe, just maybe, we can pull this off....

Also from what I hear, the enemies are smarter & stronger..and husks, husks everywhere!

Oh, yeah, I'm intimidated.

As I stated in the poll, I'm slightly reluctant about the game...but I know I'm going to buy it anyways. I didn't stay a fan 5 years to peter out in the last 3 months. There are also other factors at play ensuring the purchase, but it's pretty much guaranteed to be bought.

Presentation is part of the total package.  Shall I elaborate?  ME3 will have a coop multiplayer component, one that will require me to build a new network of freinds on a different app than the one I use for well over 90% of my multiplayer gaming.  Valve doesn't get a ding for that because I already use their service, I have a network of freinds on their application and I do not on Origin.  This affects the multiplayer aspect of the game, and while it is a small portion of the overall experience, in my opinion, it is still part of the problem.  Thus, as it stands, ME3 can't possibly achieve 100% satisfaction with me at the moment.  90% is hardly putting a game down, if my child came home with a test that read that at the top, it would be praise worthy.

That said, should bioware integrate BSN friends lists into ME3 multiplayer, I would be a happy camper.  Then I wouldn't need to build a new network of friends, or hassle myself to contact people on steam to find out their origin name so I can play ME3 with people I trust to have a good time with.  This is a non-detachable portion of the game, it is part of the game, part of the experience, and I can't give it a perfect score, but a very good one.

If that's putting the game down in your book, then we have nothing left to discuss.

I should also note that I preordered the N7CE for it, something I have never done for any other game ever.  Terrible put down, I know.Image IPB
