then why not vote, anyway the poll says try to forget about origin and say what you think about the game itself. its only a couple of clicksImage IPB

As requested. I'd even toss in an extra 10% if EA wasn't the owner.

While I'm strongly for it (didn't vote) and really would like to finish the series, to me it's a single player game and I don't need or want Origin. At best it might not be needed for single play but I'm still watching for how BF 3 users are handling it or if other games come out with Origin as an in-your-face mandatory install.

Sorry, I can't forget about Origin.

From what information I've seen, about 90%. I'm not thrilled about Origin being packaged with my game, and there's still more info I'd like to see.

Voted 50%, although it's something between 50% and 70%. Which would be reduced to 20% if we take Origin into the equation.

40%, and that's being generous.

You know my reasons.

70% from me.

Not to be confused with an academic "C" as mediocre, I'd say it's "good" where 80% is realy good, 90% superb, 100% epic. In a nutshell: lots of awesome things, more than I expected, but some significant disappointing and stupid things as well.

An unfinished beta that wasn't suppose to be released, an incomplete and outdated script with 4 or more lines between each point, and your own imagination to fill in the blanks?

We'll see how "incomplete" and "outdated" the script will turn out to be.

just a tad harsh there, and thats me being generous. did you completely ignore all of the CAPS LOCK warnings about not basing your opinion on things like origin?

His concern is valid though. TBH if I saw an early script for a movie and didn't like it, I doubt I would buy tickets in advance without waiting for reviews. And that is a much cheaper purchase.

I haven't read the script because if it is to my tastes, I'll ruin it for myself.

it sounded like your vote was influenced by origins involvement, should we really judge a game by how it is given to the cutsomers?

We should if it  has an effect on our decision to buy or not buy it.

In this case Origin does. For me is a major letdown.

LOL, suck it haters.

Well, particularly I am 100% on the singleplayer part so far. 40% on the mp. Bioware has yet to prove that this will be more than just some horde mode that didn't live up to its potential to the franchise. So that leaves 90% on the game itself.

I gave it a 20%. The fact that the game's lead writer doesn't know his own lore is rediculous, and explains why the script is so crappy.

Oh, and by the way, almost nothing you did in the first two games matters anymore.

WHAT IS EVERYONES PROBLEM WITH ORIGIN, DOES EVERYONE SERIOUSLY BELIEVE EA GIVES A DAMN ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND WHAT YOU DO WITH YOU FREE TIME? NO THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO WITH THEIR GAMES HOW LONG YOU PLAY THEM FOR WHAT class YOU PLAY ETC.

okay tantrum over, but seriously people need to get over EA and origin otherwise they will go on throughout the rest of thier gaming lives, being cynical about everything and not believing in a tommorow whilst ruining genuinely good games for others. comments like this make me sad Image IPB

Lets put it this way, if all you have for say Avatar is a script, its a long repeat of stories we've seen with cheap dialogue from the military jarhead a**hole leader with another jarhead who is trying to gain the locales favor only to then......I could go on.

Its the execution thats important, Avatar is a masterpiece if you watch it, sh*t if you read it.

Now I know some may hate Avatar, but think about any movie you have seen and loved, then reduce it to a script, you have 10% of a movie basically.

P.S. if you see the script, I say again, there are 4 or more blanks between each point as it is.

EA obviously cares about what we have on our PCs. Every large company does. It's called market studies. Just the information about what are the name of the folders in the computer is worth a huge amount of money.

I don't care if they are going to use mine or not, I don't want them to look. It's the same as if some employ came to my home to just take a look at my room. I wouldn't let him.

EA doesn't have the right to do what they are doing with Origin. It breaks a good amount of laws and violates a good amount of consumer's rights (it seems that no the US ones, but in Europe we do care about our rights).

If there was a majority voting low in this website, then Bioware would have a REALLY BIG problem.

you've made a huge leap between market studies and spyware, again EA just wants to know what you do with thier games. i fail to see how EA can make money off of your folder names, even if they could go through all of your files, they gain nothing from it, aside from information about what people do when they are lonely (you know what i mean) which could be rather hilarious, but still pointless.

@Arbiter156. We are here, If you look at my posts I generally am positive about this game, pessimistic about reality, but generally I want to avoid the negativity to something I REALLY WANT TO ENJOY AND NOT LET A SCRIPT PLAY THE GAME FOR ME. Nor do I want haters to influence how I am going in.

Life sucks, ME1 and 2 are awesome, ME3 will be too, but haters wanna snuff what little enjoyment I can have in this long wait.
