I found the late "4D beings" topic to be a bit intriguing, so thought about opening up a new one. Would really be interested to ask/discuss quantum mechanics or string theory or... stuff...

So, my first question would be this: is there any empirical evidence that supports the talk about dimensions from the previous thread? Second question: how is the "existence" of such dimensions defined? What makes a dimension a dimension and what kind of existence do physicists claim it to have?
