It seems that Arcane Warriors are very popular, particularly for soloing or nightmare mode. But while I find it fun as well. I was wondering how well the standard cloth wearing glass cannon works in this game.
I was thinking Bloodmage/ Spirit healer, with the crushing prison line and some primal.
Any yays, or nays would be appreciated.

I'm not into the whole Arcane Warrior thing so I tried a pure mage. Got stuck at level 13. I could not kill that damn boss with the tentacles in the dwarven mines (not even on easy mode!), so I started over with a rogue. Game is MUCH easier this time (normal difficulty). But I will try another pure mage build after I finish the game with my rogue.

I beat nightmare difficulty with this:

For bosses you have to be able to play support while your tanks do most of the damage--you can't just be spec'd with all damage spells. That is, buff them, heal them, and try to hex/stun/slow the boss since most are resistant to spell damage. Also don't focus in one element. Perhaps the boss you had so much trouble with was just resistant to the type of damage of the spells you were using.

Thanks, I has looking at your pure caster build and I'll probably give it a whirl.
