Ok! one of the thing I always imagine Thane is that he's a baddass asssassin with a rifle and dual wielding handguns. I don't really understand why it's not in the game. A lot of other games have this system. It will also make Biotic classes and Tech classes so much more.

What do you think? Adept/Engineer with duel handguns baddass or no way highway.

Dual-wielding handguns... hmmm... trying to find a nice way of saying it's Hollywood crap... you can't actually hit much doing that.

Walking with a lightball armor isn't either ideallic in real life, but I don't see/hear people complaining about it.

Reminds me of Halo. I honestly don't think that will be ME3 unless the developers decided to do something with pistols and Sub-Machine guns.

Overused and unpractical. So no.

Unless you are firing at a very big target and you want to spew as much lead into it as possible, dual-wielding pistols is not effective since you can't really aim down the sights. Re-loading both guns is a pain too. It'd be better to shoot both guns, throw one away when it runs out, and go down to the one gun.

Edit: If you are Blasto, though, then all of that is moot.

It seems a lot of you people have not play left4dead or Saint Row 3. Or, any shooting games, dual wielding is very effective you know how to use it.

Actually, people did make comments about it at one point, but stopped bothering because the zombie fanboy crowd attacked them for daring to question it.  Personally, I prefer the camo, grey, or black matte-finish armors from ME1.

I do not agree with dual handgun wielding for the following reason:

No, that's a different one.

Would rather they allow you to equip your squad with the weapons you want them to have. Ie.. all squad with assault rifles regardless of class.

Sounds like reloading would be a bit tricky, so no.

Adept/Engineer

Could you explain the logic there, please? I might be willing to believe that a soldier could dual-wield (relevant implants, lots of practice) but not the specialists who spend most of their time not firing their guns.

Regardless, I think it might be a good idea for BW to not copy everything that makes MW gameplay silly (idiots running around killing with only knifes, riot shields,...).

I disagree with that completly. You have information on both guns on the HUD and you could reload either one anytime like Halo.

How would it be tricky? All you have to do is eject a thermal clip. It's not like you have to insert a mag and chamber a round like it is in modern pistols.
