I'm sure lots of people already know this, but I just discovered it. If you go to the import properties then choose script set, you can change the whole script set of an NPC to a companion. That saves tons of time copying each field by hand.
FYI: Quick script set changes to easily convert NPC to companion

The import/export function is a great feature. It really makes it easy to make a number of blueprints with similar properties. There are also some useful property sets that come ready to import, as you've discovered.

Also really good for environment settings, change the one you want eg a nightime setting adjust the fog, make it a bit darker then export it and import it back to default. Set the area properties to always night and off you go without having to change the whole lot and keeping most of the nightime presets. ( I used to write them all down before I discovered this )!

I have to have several dozen custom script sets and variables that I can import for different reasons. It is a great tool to replicate conditions without having to input each item.
