That always sounds good in theory, in practice it's rarely true.

From what I've seen, pessimists make themselves so miserable that when things DO go their way, they're so rotten that they don't enjoy it anyway.

There are actually lots things in the leaked script I really don't like. Still, I'm focusing instead on what I like/am excited about and choosing to stay positive. That way, I'll get over the stupid easier and overall be happier about it.

Just friendly advice, take it FWIW.

Anyways i can accept your points of criticism that i came of as abrasive and rude, im not gonna go out on a limb and say im different then the other people on this social network (they can be pretty damn hostile to me i was actually pretty mild), but seeing as it was SWM i didn't find the time to give him "civil" courtesy. 

reason being is I've seen this guy debate before and ive seen him end losing debates by calling people "twerps" and going "i don't really care what you think your stupid" i think those people were Saphra Deden and/or Dave the Canadian (Still damn myself to this day for not saving the links or i would show you examples.)

As for  your "edit" the i lost ungracefully part gimme a break dude the debate didn't even begin it ended as soon as i learned SWM was gonna use ME3 spoilers, and since im basically in the dark about the spoilers i refused for them to be used, (i am trying to find out somethings about them though). In short nobody won or lost the debate seeing as one didn't even begin it was about to but it didn't.

So all in all im not afraid to apoligize to you cuz you may have been looking for a "good" "constructive" debate and i may have ruined that by the way i came off to SWM.

Now, what I DO regret is having any confidence in Bioware creating anything other than a pretentious Ratchet & Clank/Gears of War clone with irrelevant "choices" and spineless hackery that gets passed off as "writing" that panders to their audience of emotionally unstable paragon xenophiles.

Losing with grace was probably not what I was looking for either.  Perhaps leaving without parting shots?

I've seen Saph throw that line of reasoning around too:  "I considered your side, and you're still incredibly wrong and do it just to feel better about yourself." 

Belittling your opponent seems to be the tactic of the day here on BSN.  It gets old fast.  The *edit* was pointing towards this.  With that about our version is grasping at straws versus yours being the wise pragmatic choice, you certainly earned that parting zing.

People are taking the leaked script way to seriously and way out of context. People are reading the script as if it were written as a book or a play script which it is not and beyond text we have no idea how anything will be delievered beyond what has been shown as of now. People are assuming alot based off of text alone which is wrong. Most movies and games sound horrible just with the script alone and nothing else. We do not know what has been changed or added since then and just responding with, "they can't possibly change some of the major events with only 5 (now 4 months)", is not a good enough excuse to be sore against Bioware and that is still plenty of time to add things and make changes (granted nothing majorly huge but changes none the less).
