No spoilers? Okay, but I can say that pretty much the whole plot of ME3 revolves around it.

Too bad. For those who give the base to TIM, anyway.
Me? I don't feel comfortable giving a glorified blender to the people that would gladly kidnap the glorified fruits/vegetables/whatever people put in blenders.
Oh me personally i rather put my idiotic feelings of moral superiority and not grasp at non existent hope and actually have a concrete resource that could help me defeat my enemy.
but thats just me....just saying
And it begins, we can't have a nice debate because nobody tolerates anyone else's ideas. Is it hard to say you disagree and express your ideas without using "idiot" and "moral superiority"?
If i tolerated his idea there really wouldn't be a need for a debate cuz i really would just keep my mouth shut (rather fingers from typing) debates are arguments of opposing view points...more or less

If you tolerated his idea, you would respect that his opinion differs from yourse and use the correct language tools to show that. Instead you just showed that you are a tool incapable of civilized debate. You begin any debate with the premise that you are correct, but to begin one with the premise that your opponent is an idiot and that they somehow see themselves above you without even engaging them in the sharing of ideas shows how little you care to debate an opposing view point; you're only here to tell them how wrong you know they are.
Carry on then, why should I stop you from demonizing your opponent instead of debating him on the facts and issues.
*edit* You can't even lose gracefully. Look at you, grasping at straws versus logical and pragmatic. Here's a hint, both sides have some logic to them, you obviously felt that one side appealed more to you. If you spent time debating what is logical and pragmatic and less time debating who's living in fantasy land maybe there would be constructive conversation.

Yes, TIM gets Reaper tech anyway. However, I have a feeling it's not going to matter either way. Perhaps TIM's attitude will be different toward Shep based on this decision, but I don't expect anything more.

I don't think the relationship betwen Shep and Mr. Illusive is imporant. It is more that the Alliance and Council will probably frown on the fact that Cerberus got the tech from Shepard. It's treason.

Man, oh man. I knew it was a good idea to blow up that base. I just didn't know HOW good of an idea it was.
I personally did it the first time to blow that smirk off TIM's face after the Collector trap. Totally worth it?
Probably was was enough that I stole his ship, (Like a boss) but I'd say that it was worth enough.

No need to be so bitter about it. You took the risk, and trusted TIM. It could have gone any way he could use it for evil/selfish purposes, or he could have used it for the betterment of everyone.
Its like real life; sure you can think about how making a certain decision might be the logical, and practicle one to choose, and you can follow your gut/instincts. Either one can turn out right or wrong. No one said that the supposedly "logical" decision has to be the "right" decision.

Heh yeah; seeing TIM pissed off like that was pretty sweet. Though when I made that decision I was mostly thinking about the future consquences of giving Cerberus this tech.

I've always found it amazing how people really believe the Reapers desired us to kick Sovereign in the nads, take his guns, use them to murder the Collectors, and take their guns as well.C9316 wrote...

Oh well, blowing up the base and giving TIM the finger while riding away in the SR2 was pretty sweet.
