ME 3 has no chance in passing Gears of War . Gears has better game play and gun play simple as that

Strange question I think, it's like comparing meat with tomatoes arguing the two are red and can be eaten.
For one to surpass the other the two games have to be at least the same kind of game or else it will just be about one's taste.

Seriously though, I know for a fact I will enjoy it more than I would enjoy GOW (if I would play it). The simple fact is I know ME3 will be richer in story (mainly because it is MY shepard) and will last me longer than...what? 10 hours?
Usually, I am not interested in MP, but the MP for ME3 sounds up my alley, since they are throwing in RPG elements into the mix.
To wrap it up, in my -->OPINION<--, I know it will be better.

You can have a great story and characters but if the game play sucks which ME 1 and 2 both suck when it comes to game play then what do you really have nothing . Halo has a crappy story but it has great game play . Gears of War games have awesome game play and gun play but the story is not as good.

If the ME series was a TPS, I don't thinks I would have been able to play those games almost without firing a shoot and actually "selecting" my targets intead of "aiming" them.
