By Jingo! - I thionk you've sworted it Knightmare! Just run a quick test & no matter who enters the trigger after the sussurus kicks the bucket, the skeletons spawn as expected.

Bit more testing after I try & implement the floating text again & all being well, I'll upload a new version in a few days - couple of other minor issues to change & we're away!

Hi Lance,
The variable that changes when the Sussurus is killed is a local variable set in the 'local variables' section of the area properties - not global (although I wondered if it should be) & not on an object - did I do wrong?

As for the trigger script just checking if old windy britches is still in teh game using the GetIsDead function - that may be the obvious solution (well - another one :-)).

Finally - Sussurus - Yep - its the Lichway - do you remember it from way back too?

Hi Clyordes,

I was going to respond, but it sounds like you may have it sorted now. :) Although I will quickly add that using an object in the area, or global ints is probably still my preferred way. There is nothing wrong with using the area though ... no immediate problem springs to mind if you know how to get it as an object of course.

Yes, I do remember The Lichway quite well, as it was the first dungeon I played as a player, and then turned out to be the first one I ever DM'd. :) I believe I havethe original White Dwarf in which it featured somewhere, as I used to buy them to play the dungeons in them. ;)

Where does the dungeon feature in your history of gaming?

Hi Lance- pretty much like yourself, it was one of the very first adventures I ever dm'd, after being the first lads in our little derbyshire village to get the d&d basic set, way back in January 1983! Started buying white dwarf soon after & working my way through all the adventures they published. Lichway always reminds me of a hot summer afternoon in someone's house, explaining how to create characters & taking the group through this weird new game. I think there was probably a lot of resurrecting characters after a bit too little caution, but most of us were hooked for at least a few years to come.
