Sports it depends on the sport. Although I usually only watch football(not the American variety) and ice hockey but they seem to have stopped showing that here. The main issue I have with watching these is that the accompanying show with football is rage inducing most of the time and watching the NHL feels more like being allowed to watch some hockey between ad breaks rather than the other way around.
I enjoy a good sitcom but unfortunately the best ones like Curb Your Enthusiasm, East Bound and Down or 30 Rock get little exposure over here or in the case of Community(which I recently discovered on dvd to be excellent) gets no exposure at all here. While we are stuck with re-runs of the quite frankly crap Friends being talked up as if its amazing that we get to watch it, despite the fact we saw it when it first came out and we saw it on the other channel thats been showing it for the past decade!! Up yours comedy central!!! All day every day is Friends and Two and a Half Men, while they relegate 30 Rock to one episode a week. If I ever snap and start ripping peoples arms off it will be because I saw another f*cking ad trying to make out that Friends is some sort of comedy master work that will cure cancer, restore youth and shine your shoes just by watching another f*cking all day marathon of it this time dedicated to the women of Joey!!.....Ahem.
Although Glee remains the worst show I've ever seen. It annoys me down to my very soul. I've seen awful shows before that I can just pass off as awful but Glee almost seems to hate me right back.

I used to watch the History Channel quite a bit, before they started airing shows like Pawn Stars and showcasing the activites of every country backwater town they could with absurd regularity. Hairy Bikers, Big Shrimpin', Swamp People... Really?! And let's not forget about their new star, Larry the Cable Guy...
I have a distaste for CBS sitcoms which alot of people here seem to really like. Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, I don't find them very funny. And I've watched a few episode of beloved series like Sex and the City and Friends, but the humor is just so dry... I don't understand how they enjoyed widespread popularity during their runs.
Surprrised you didn't bring up Soap Operas. They're usually easy targets. Since All My Children was cancelled I don't watch them anymore though.

Right after they talk at the news about Aids and how to fight it ....
I occasionnally watch Hockey (I`m a habs fans) .. But it's also a show so i don't go ape **** for it either. It's not MY reality and the big fan thing it might be. It also can be unheatly.
Moderation it's always a heatly habit for everything but I don't critiquize other people hobby either.

Sorry, I'm a prisoner of pop culture. I watch ABC's Modern Family, ESPN First Take and SportsNation, and E Entertainment's Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and Kourtney and Kim Take New York religiously. Got all three categories covered. Anything else I watch just happens to be on.

Soaps, TV talk shows, and Romanc/daiting shows are all too easy, Its like being in an animal grave yard and swing a stick at dead cats. You'll always find and hit one.
Also I weep for your soul you poor creature lulz.

There are some really good comedies in the History of T.V.
I learned more from watching All in the Family when I was a kid than I was taught by most of the adults in my life.
The only thing that even comes close to a "Reality" show that I can sit through is Pawn Stars and that's because I come from a long-line of Collectors...the kind who like antiques...not the Mass Effect kind.
I love watching Baseball on T.V. but actually prefer to listen on the radio...

Did you just disrespect Larry the Cable Guy AND admit you watch the Kardashians? Whats the world coming to? A man put his arm up a cows arse for your entertainment and you shun him in favour of whatever the hell the Kardashians are supposed to be. Larry the Cable Guy is a saint. A saint I tell you.

I'll be the first to say that if you gathered all of the Kardashians in single room, they wouldn't have enough talent to fill a dixie cup. They're still an interesting clan to watch, however. And they air on an Entertainment network.
I don't need the History Channel to bring me the Redneck Ruminations of Larry the Cable Guy. Just Sayin'. I think he's terribly insulting to Southerners along with the rest of the History Channel's Bumpkin Backwater Lineup. There is a limit. Should be anyways.
EDIT: Why I watch the Kardashians: This is the same family that gave us Robert Kardashian who defended OJ Simpson - a man who turned lying into an art form. They don't do anything unless it's in front of a camera. Kim's fame was built around a shameful sex tape. Attention is their oxygen. And yet, the mother - Kris Kardashian - has turned the infamy associated with the Kardashian name into an Empire. Endlessly fasinating.

Whoa, whoa, whoa Kim Kardashian has a sex tape floating around somewhere? That's news to me. But anyhow I like shows such as Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and American Restoration because the objects and stuff they deal with is interesting and can have some history behind it. But, History Channel use to be good, shows like IRT, Swamp People (which is funny too watch on occasion) and Life after Man don't belong on the history channel. My God it's called the history channel for a reason, so why is there a program on there about the future.
I miss the Hitler Channel

As for the other too, I hate sport with the burning intensity of a thousand suns. I even hate that it's on after the proper news. It'd be like having film news, or video game news on after news about important world events. Silly.
And most reality TV I don't like. Because if that's real life, I'll eat all the shoes I own.

None worth hearing. Unless you count my heart beatin like boom, ba doom ba boom, Super Bass. Lyrical poetry.MTV is called music television and yet how much music do you really see on it anymore?
That, and Mad Men. Many TV series seem to peter out after the 3rd or so, but it seems to still be chugging along well.Aside from Breaking Bad I don't touch the TV anymore. No wait not even do I touch it for that I just watch it online.
Indeed. This comes to mind. Unless it revolves around some kind of narrative, I've no interest in watching it - I'd rather play it myself. It'd be like having film news, or video game news on after news about important world events. Silly.
