For some reasons, my companions are invisible.  Allister, for example, simply isn't there.  When conversations or cut scenes arise, his voice sounds, but he's simply not there.

He doesn't appear on the party roster on the left of the screen either.

I've just left the swamp with Morrigan.  She's not there, either.  I'm walking along alone.  When I actually left, I went through the conversation with her and her mother which has her join me and Invisible Allister, but when I move away she just stands there.

Very shortly afterwards, I meet the dog.  Same thing - I go through the conversation, invite him to come with me, but then he just stands there as I walk off.  I have no companions at all!
