Inspired by the "Do you dislike anime?" thread, I thought I'd change the pace a bit and ask everyone's favorite animated shows are (both Western and Japanese). Here are a few of mine:

Angry Beavers
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Emma: A Victorian Romance
Kim Possible
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I've also seen every King of the Hill episode in existence - fairly insightful social commentary if you can get past the "every character (except Connie) deserves a good smack upside the head" reflex.

Oh f*ck how could I have forgotten about this?

METALOCALYPSE IS AWESOME!

I still prefer One Piece because it's deeper and more mature, but boy did I laugh hard when I saw the first 3 seasons of Metalocalypse (I haven't seen season 4 yet)!

METALLLLLLL! \\m/

I don't have the chance to watch cartoons much these days, but my list of favorites includes:

- Robotech
- Voltron (lion team, specifically)
- Looney Tunes (the original set with Mel Blanc vocals)
- Dragon Quest (this was only 13 episodes in the U.S., iirc)
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Archer

There were plenty of cartoons that I got up early or rushed home from school for, though that was probably more for entertainment's sake. They don't rank among my favorites.

Hmm I'll have to think on this, but it will be long...well say, things like Sponge Bob, Ed, Edd, And Eddy, Avatar, Pirates of Dark Water, Street Sharks, Super Mario Bro's Super show, TMNT, Generator Rex, and GI JOE, as examples for now from the US side

For anime, easily over 75-100 titles, From Macross, and Patlabor, to Angelic Layer, and Black Magic M66. (No hentai, or the more "Girly" or chibbi titles apply to any of this, strongly dislike those.)

Tom & Jerry

The old stuff or the newer stuff?

Cause the old stuff rocked. Especially the space ship episodes.

@Chris Priestly - Cheers to you for the inclusion of Schoolhouse Rock. That gap between cartoon time slots was made all the easier for knowing how to unpack those adjectives.

Looney Toons, hands down...

But I still love Batman: The Animated series for the way they were able to capture a lot of the Batman legend and still tone it down to make it good for kids while not making it silly.

Family Guy, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead and South Park these days.

But from my younger days as someone who is younger than me:
He-Man
The Tick(which caused me a few detentions because I'd go home at lunch time to watch it and be late back)
Brave Starr
Thundercats
Spiderman
X-men
Ghostbusters
The Mr T cartoon
MASK
Visionaries
Transformers
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Action Force(or GI Joe to Americans. Thats right we changed the name how do you like dem apples?)
Dungeons and Dragons
Flintstones

There's others I can remember watching but can't recall their names and I'm probably forgetting others.

You liked that? Seriously?

God I hated that show, actully I hated ALL of those Kids Educational TV shows they made us watch in the morning at school, most of the stuff I already knew, but in a less boring way.

Though I'll admit it was fun taunting the TV, or answering the question wrongly on purpose then making some "crazy logic" on it to confuse the other kids.

Eventually My teachers just allowed me to go get books during this time, in a vain attempt to lessen my corruption of the "Public education" system.

Also Thunder Cats and Transfomers would be on my yet to be, and most likely never will be compleated list that I have yet to start.
