Is it known whether Nova is a unique power or the Vanguards' heavy melee?
It's the ground pound. The heavy melee is something else.

Gameplay footage is the best marketing tool imo. That combat footage has gotten me way more excited for ME3 than anything else so far.
Sadly, making demos apparently takes a lot of time on the dev's end. If anything, the release delay actually gave BioWare time to even consider putting out a prerelease demo, since they need a few months to put a public demo together (from what I've heard).Mesina2 wrote...

Demo accessible to everyone is the best marketing tool.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

That's silly, if you don't care for the hosts, just skip to the middle of the video. Shame too because the combat is awesome! Played last night and Ithe flashlight.

While I like flashlight in games (they add a lot atmosphere) during dark areas. Shouldn't soldiers like Shepard have night vision instead of a flashlight? Especially given the day and age Mass effect takes place.
PS. The combat looks great.

But if they had nightvision goggles, then their flashlights can't malfunction and build up for a jump scare...

Oh yeah.
But atleast Bioware won't be complete dicks and bind sprinting and the flashlight to the same energy pool like Half-life 2 did.
