Do not want.

I mean, it'll be interesting to watch being made and such but I'd rather have Obsidian's writing staff be used to it's fullest potential. Not... this. :(

It's so completely insane, it pretty much has to work. I stopped watching south park a long time ago...but this could be interesting.

This is easily one of the most original ideas for an RPG license ever, not to mention, South Park writing ain't exactly "easy".

Urhm sweetie, Bethesda doesn't need Obsidian's permision to have Fallout back, they own the IP. Obsidian can't do **** without Bethesda's approval.

Of course. It just got renewed till 2016 based on great ratings. It's still going strong, unlike all those crap Family Guy/American Dad wannabes.

I really don't know how to feel about this. I love South Park. And I love Obsidian. I'm not certain I'd love them together.

Out of curiosity, I haven't read the article yet, does Obsidian's writers like Avellone for instance collaborate with Trey & Matt on the writing of the game or is it all Trey & Matt? Just curious about that. =)

It's original, however there's some problems with what they can do with the writing. They're fairly limited with what they can accomplish, we won't see anything like NV's factions or morally complex stories. What we're probably going to see, following South Park tradition, are pop culture references and satire with a bunch of immature (though clever) jokes.

To me, this feels more like another Dungeon Siege 3 than Alpha Protocol and it makes me sad.

So is me setting my self on fire and jumping off the statue of liberty while drinking a can of redbull with bottle rockets tied to my arms and flying across the hudson river.

Does that make it good? No

Safe? No

Fun? For some people with a lack of fine taste, yes I'm sure it does.



And no South Park is for immature ass hats and pissing on as many people as it can, I'm sure its terriblly hard to make fun of a race, relgion, life style, or hell anything else that you can't pick up at any comedian night club.


"OriginaL" doesn't always= good.

If thats one of your ideas of "Cool" or "Hot" you may need to rethink your life.

Sounds like a good mindset to adopt. If the player drives himself insane, then the insanity of a South Park RPG can only work.

Well... in this case neither of these "chicks" are hot. Not for me of course.
