Hey People,

 I just installed the ME1 but after installing and downloading the patch v1.02.. When I click play at the menu , nothing happen! Do guide me on what to do. I just bought the original of ME1 cos I find ME2 very interesting. Do help me. Cheers.

I ve just got an answer from the EA customer service! Mass Effect is not compatible on windows 7 ! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! I'm SO FRUSTRATED THAT THE SALESMAN IN EBGAMES NEVER TELL ME ABOUT THIS!

It is compatible you just need to download and install the 1.02 patch which solves a crash on windows 7. Since it was created before Windows 7 was out they had to fix the issue in an update. Sometimes it might still be fussy with the patch so just run in XP compatability mode and right click and click on "run as admin" should get the game to work.

Now that the advertisement for some Canadian supplier of Viagra is deleted, it's not so obvious what my comment was about. 

Reported the Spam to Stanley (he's the first moderator in the list these days).  I was getting sleepy early, and somehow turned yesterday into Friday while I was writing about the report, and was expecting the spam to sit there undisturbed for two days.  But it's gone.  .

Thats weird, I can run ME1 on Win7 quite easily, however i did patch the game.
