For instance, with my characters armor off, the fatigue says(minus 2.4%,) and the font is white. When I wear the armor, the fatigue says (plus 4.6%), and the font is red. I guess I don't understand what this is indicating. Thanks.

How tired you get wearing it, but I can't remember how this affects gameplay.
white = not tiring
red = tiring to wear (the bigger the red # the heavier/more tiring it is)

And the higher fatigue, the more stamina that special actions (like Flurry or Shield Bash) consume during battle. So a high fatigue score in red means you will be able to execute fewer special actions during battle.

I am wondering if -2.4% means that abilities cost 2.4% less stamina/mana to cast.
