The game has been contantly 100% ,no fail, crashing to desktop after the second Archdemon dream (where you are forced to camp, and attacked by shrieks iirc).  Changing the graphics settings to null does not seem to have any effect.

System: XP Home (5.1, Build 2600)
Pentium Dual Core CPU E5200 2.5GHz
3328 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (1024 MB)

Got all the DLC installed + Enabled Except Festivday and Darkspawn Chronicles.
1.04 Patch, and relativly few mobs - Inproved Atmosphere, and two small modules, but have had those modules installed for ages, and had no problems in the past (DLC is more recent + got a small add on for Imporved Atmostphere)  Also got two small cosmetic mods - some extra Hair and a makeover for Liliana, IDKhow they'd cause a problem though.

Maybe there's some prblm wid ur game. Copy ur saves and dn try reinstalling game

First step would be to remove all mods.
Second step would be to post per the sticky, your machine specs(especially the drivers!!!).

Being the next day, and not late at night I looked into this in a bit more detail.

Found a save that had the Improved Atmosphere mod installed and triggered the same cut secene - no crash.  Was before the small Warden armour update to the mod though, so had a crazy idea.  Removed the Warden armour from the party members that where wearing it, and presto no crash.  Didn't even uninstall, just physically put it in the inventory .

Also had some annoying crash issues around Haven - especially the High Dragon fight - where the game would crash to desktop while switching between characters, usually when there was not a smooth camera transition, had the party with the Warden armour on then to

Rather odd, but does this mean that certain camera transistions just don't like the armour or something?  IIRC the model is a bit higher quality than the others, but not sure how it would cause a problem.

It may be something in your video driver doesn't like it, or the game or any combination of it and other mods. At least you now know, and can play with it until you get issues and then remove to get through the trouble area.

There may a problem with your graphic card drivers or with your game. Remove all mods (but keep their backup somewhere safe) and then re-install and play game without mods....

I know this is an old thread, but thank you so much for posting your simple, wonderful solution! I found it worked really, really well. I didn't realise it was that particular issue that was the problem, and kept tearing my hair out (figuratively) trying to figure out what was the problem. Uninstalled everything, including the base game, and reinstalled, only for it to crash when I loaded another file.
