Upon defeating the Revenant in the  castle's Courtyard, the game crashs without fail. It happens regardless if I am helped in battle by the knights. I am unnable to progress therefore.

I am playing without Awakening or DLC the steam version. Windows 7, 64bit. I haven't had any problem with crashes so far.

Can someone here help me, please?

Thanks in advance and sorry my bad English.

A good question as is.  We need some more information and maybe then we can help better.  Please take a look at the 'stickies' on this forum which may help you to help yourself.  If those do not help, start a fresh thread here.

http://social.biowar...8/index/7280573 "read first".

http://social.biowar...8/index/6265850 many helpful ideas for a wide variety of problems.

And there are also more threads for DLC problems.  At a guess, I would say you have a system issue (drivers?) unless you have a MOD issue (some mods cause as many problems as they fix).

Oh, and please register the game.  Helps show you have a genuine copy.

I had already read the troubleshot threads with no results. I have not, however read how to properly report, I am sorry.

You say I should create a new thread, but is it really necessary? I will post here my system information, if this could give some insight,

-Processor : AMD Phenom™ II X4 925 Processor
-Memory RAM: 4GB
-Display Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430; 1GB RAM; driver 285.62
-Sound Adapter: Samsung UC Audio
-Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

I have some mods (Morrigan Restoration, Extra dog slots, Equal love and a couple of meshes), but the problem keep happening even if I remove them (I also suspect they have no relation with this particular scene, anyhow).

Also, following some thread here, I've tried to disable all but one processor, with no result.

Thanks again.

Fair enough. Many people don't even do that. Sorry to repeat since you had done that.

The optimum configuration is with two cores, not down to one.. Have you tried two?

I had clearly failed at reading an important thread, though, so it is natural to think I have not read the others. Don't sweat it.

Two cores? Well, I hadn't tried, yet, no. But I just tried right now and, as you can guess, no change.

I have access to a friend's physical version. Would it change if I install it instead of using the Steam version? It will be more troublesome to get the expansion latter, but it is better then not being able to progress.
