I am posting this on behalf of a group of fans in England who are holding a get together for Dragon Age fans. While this isn't an official BioWare sponsored event, I think it is really cool when our fans get together to talk about the games we make. Hopefully our Dragon Age fans in the U.K. will see this and be able to attend.

Thedas U.K.

In the UK?  Jealous of all the conventions our US friends get to go to?  Here's your chance!

Thedas UK is a convention for all things Dragon Age.  It's on the 14th January 2012, just off the M1 on the Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire border (close to public transport links) in a 17th century converted farmhouse which is now a rather lovely pub.  Highlights include discussion panels, a message with Bioware, workshops for fanfic and fanart, table-top and live freeform roleplaying, a costume competition and a three-course medieval banquet in the evening.  More details on our Thedas UK website at http://www.mwap.co.uk/Welcome.html
Bookings by 25th December, please!  We look forward to seeing you there....

wow this is about half an hour away from where I live and looks like a definite laugh especially the role playing section and the karaoke.

Shame I cannot make it due to university and work :(

What? There are other people in the UK who play games, specifically Dragon Age?

When did this happen.

Hrmm. I'll have to see. Good to know either way.

Damn... if it wasn't for the university, I might even consider taking a flight over the channel. Haven't been in the Kingdom too long anyway. Well, have fun and record lots of vids^^

Typical its in Donington and conveniently everyone forgets its in Derbyshire! (Lives in Derby) Also typical I'll be otherwise busy despite the fact that its just down the road. Massive shame.

Well, I mean sure sometimes I dislike where live, i'd rather live in say Glasgow or something, but country wise I generally cant see me living anywhere else. Ah the weather, fortunately i only go outside in short intervals, so it doesnt effect me much. heh.

Well, Glasgow is the best Scottish city ;), looking to be a bit hairy today though, not looking forward to getting home from work during the storm today :(.

re: OP  hope everyone has a fun get together when it happens, too skint to go I'm afraid.

Come to sunny Eastbourne, it is very temperate here.... trust me, I'm from Nottingham... lived two years in Scotland (In Lochearnhead and Crianlarich) and now live in Eastbourne and it has the best weather in the UK :)
