To Bioware: any plans in the future of releasing Baldur's Gate on the iPhone? I am sure I am not the only one who would be excited to see it out on the iPhone, or another portable device (PS Vita)

No, BioWare has no plans to do any work with the BG series as far as we all know. They have their own (EA) IPs to consider now.

I really can't see how anyone wants to play BG on their phone but anyhow with GemRB it is/could be possible to do that. It's in development though.

The "i" makes it very difficult to do cool things with it, but it's possible with GemRB.
